chapter 15
taehyung had this whole mental breakdown last night and i ended comforting him until 4am. i ran back to my house with dark eye bags and i barely got any sleep because taehyung kept worrying me. he kept shouting how he wanted to end it all and die. good thing, we didn't wake up his parents. who hurt him this much? but, here i am.. waiting for taehyung during 5th period.

"tae!" i say and taehyung hugs me.
"i am so sorry about yesterday. i– i– i freaked out and.. i'm just so so sorry." i say.
"it's okay, tae." i say.
we both sit on the field next to each other and i say, "who hurt you this much..?"
taehyung sighs and says, "i'd rather not talk about it. just talking about it makes my head hurt."
"i'm so sorry.." i say.
"don't be like that." taehyung says.
"like what?" i say.
"it's not your fault. you did nothing wrong." taehyung says.
"i just feel guilty.. it hurts me to see you like this." i say.
"okay, how about we change up the mood.. huh?" taehyung says and i grin.
"you realize you're skipping class, right?" i say.
"yep, just for you~" taehyung says, wrapping his hands around my shoulders.
i suddenly tap his arm and i run out of his grasp.
"tag, you're it!" i say.
"oh my god, you're so childish.." taehyung says.
"wonder where i got that from?" i say and taehyung smiles.
"i'm going to catch you!" taehyung says.
we both chase each other around the field and some people may say that we look like fucking maniacs but that doesn't matter to us because we are truly best friends.
"fuckk." taehyung says.
"what?" i ask.
taehyung grabs my arm and we run behind the bleachers. he literally engulfs me with his huge body.
"wha–" i say.
"sh." taehyung says.
a few minutes pass and we are still frozen in the same position. taehyung finally lets me go and peeks out from the bleachers.
"coast is clear but we still can't go outside." taehyung says, "i saw the principal but i think she told some people to keep an eye out here."
"no wonder.." i say.
"we'll just stay here for now." taehyung says as he grins at me.
"tae! guess what!" i say.
"hm?" taehyung says.
"i'm dating jungkook!" i say.
"what? j–jungkook?" taehyung says.
"yeah.. he stole my first kiss at our overwatch date! he's so cute and everything about him makes my heart melt." i say and i grin.
"fuckin' hate this.." taehyung mumbles, "at least you make jeon happy."
