I love you.

Tony jerked out of his bed, crying and panting heavily. Pepper was fast asleep beside him, thankfully, not affected by the snap. He held his arm, which was prickling from pain due to him crashing it into the table.

"Tony?" he heard a voice asked. Quickly turning his head to the side, he went face to face with Pepper who had a concerned look on her face.

"Did you have that dream again?" she asked, a concerned look plastered on her face. Tony slowly nodded, "Y-yes." he spoke out.

Pepper flicked the lampshade open and stared at Tony. He engulfed her into a hug and started crying in her arms. His whole body shook as he cried, and it was starting to feel painful.

"It's okay Tony. It's okay." Pepper cooed as she was moving her hand into a circular motion on Tony's back. "It's okay."

"It's not." Tony sobbed. "It's not okay anymore, Pepper." he sobbed, his hands were already starting to give up.

This always happened since Nikki and Peter died months ago. Tony would always dream of his daughter and the boy he cared about very much dying in his arms. All of the dreams felt very real, like they were there. Tony would always feel his daughters body disintegrate into ash. How Peter clutched into him before dying.

It killed him.

He swore to himself as soon as he landed home, he would immediately form a plan with Bruce and the others, but until now, nothing was happening yet.

Him and Pepper stayed at that position for minutes, until Pepper fell asleep. Tony gently layed her head into the pillow and started walking to the hallway.

He didn't make it two steps to the hall before stumbling and breaking down on the floor again. He catched himself halfway down and buried his face into his hands. The tears that were falling out of his eyes were growing heavier. The feelings he felt when his daughter and Peter died were creeping up on him.

Tony slid down the wall and hugged his knees into his chest. His sobs were vibrating throughout his body.

He dreamed of them dying almost every single day.

And the more it happens, it was becoming more painful for him to handle.

...

There wasn't a body, so there wasn't a casket. May Parker and Tony Stark sat side to side as various pictures of Peter and Nikki were displayed.

There was a picture of Peter and Nikki together. It was the most recent picture. Nikki was smiling to the camera while Peter was busy trying to eat the ice cream that was on his hand. Tony slowly traced his hand at the corners of the polaroid photo.

"I waited for him.." May spoke out to Tony, who let go of the photo. "I waited for him for so long.. and he didn't come home."

Tony just shut his eyes in despair. Carol said there was a chance that they could get them back, but May wasn't allowed to know that.

"I'm sorry." was all Tony said before looking at one of Nikki's pictutes from when she was eleven. "S-she died in my arms." Tony told May, who felt nothing but for remorse for Tony. She knew how it felt like, but she was mad at Tony. May blamed him for the death of his nephew, and the sweet little girl she leared to also care for.

Tony moved away from May since he knew she would hit him. Or worse.

"Hey," Tony looked at the side to see Natasha. He was surprised at how her look changed entirely. Her brown hair was now platinum blonde.

"She was a great girl." Natasha started talking about Nikki. "She's like a sister to me. I watched her grow up. And I'm happy on how she turned out to be. I don't know if she knows this, but I really really love her." there were small tears dripping from Natasha's eyes.

Natasha rarely cried.

"She knows it." Tony patted his former ally on the back.

The blonde haired woman sniffled and rubbed the tears out of her eyes. "Anyways, Thor and Rogers are in Wakanda. The stones were destroyed when Thanos snapped his fingers. We can stop this and end the war. I know we can." she gently traced Nikki's empty casket.

...

When it was time to bury the caskets, Tony noticed one of the boys Nikki and Peter always used to hang out with.

Ned Leeds.

He was at the side, clutching himself and crying heavily. Tony could only inagine the pain he was feeling — both of his best friends were dead.

The billionaire slowly walked towards the boy, who couldn't even get nervous by talking to Tony Stark. The only thing he was feeling was sadness.

"Do you want a rose?" Tony offered, holding out a white rose infront of the kid.

"No. I don't want to remember this day."

Tony guiltily watched Ned cry while they were burying the casket.

"Don't tell this to anyone, but there is a way for them to come back." Tony didn't know why he was saying this to anyone. More what, saying it to a seventeen year old. "Just.. don't lose hope. And don't let May lose hope."

After the whole ceremony ended, Tony and Natasha drived back to the New Avengers facility. He took out the flip phone on his pocket, and sent a message to the only person who was in his contacts.

I know someone who could help. I need to get my daughter and Peter back.
