“Harry, please!” I pleaded, holding tightly on the sides of my seat.
He looked sideways at me then smirked, “What?”
I groaned, “Slow down!”
He shook his head, “What did I tell you about that, Alissandra?”
I can hear my heart pounding on my chest. I wished he would just slow the fuck down! He was scaring me to death. I was so afraid and nervous because of Harry’s driving. I feel so drowsy, how can he drive like this without getting a ticket?
“Please!” I pleaded once more. “Harry the cops are going to—“
He looked at me in the eyes before turning his gaze back at the road, “Trust me.”
The way he said those words made my heart melt, he said those words like a promise, a promise that will never be broken forever.
It also seemed like there was more than one meaning when he said it, like there was something that happened before in his past that he never wanted to happen again.
“I do, Harry.” I meant it.
He quickly looked at me; relief was visible on his face. He smiled sheepishly at me that made me feel so giddy before he tore his look away from me once again.
He finally slowed down the car from 150 KPH to 90KPH. Thank God!
Buteven though he slowed down the car, my breathing and heartbeat didn’t return to their normal paces. I already knew why. It was because of this guy beside me, Harry Styles.
“Harry Styles” I whispered to myself, testing what his full name would sound and feel like when I pronounce it.
“Harry Styles,” I repeated, slightly smiling to myself. I could say his name for hours without getting tired of it.
“Are you saying something?” I quickly looked up at him, panic washed through me. Did he really hear it when I said his name?!
Dammit!
“I. . . Uh. . . N-nothing!” I lied.
“Okay” He mumbled and then I quietly sighed in relief. Oh thank heavens! I thought he heard me.
“Are you sure you weren’t saying my name earlier?” He asked then I blushed.
“N-no! Of course not! Why would I?” I laughed nervously. I hope he didn’t notice the nervousness in my laugh. I looked outside the window for him not to see my red face. I felt his eyes on me, I let my hair fell on the other side of my face so that he wouldn’t see my expression.
“Have you changed your mind now?” He asked after a minute of awkward silence.
“About what?”
“About what Niall was talking about earlier?” He answered, focusing on his driving.
“Well, I still don’t know what Niall wanted you to show me.”
“I already did.” He said then ran his hand over his hair.
“You already did?” I asked, confused.
“Yea, drifting.”
My eyes slightly widened, “Drifting? Well I’m sorry, this wouldn’t change my mind about not hanging out with Iris and the others.” I said and crossed my arms.
He sighed, “Niall wouldn’t take no for an answer. I know him for all these years” He looked sideways at me again, “He always gets want he wants.”
