Harry and I were sitting on the couch quietly. He was silently typing on his phone while I was sat beside him fiddling with my fingers.
I still couldn't forget his tear-stained face not too long ago. He looked so broked and vulnerable and I really wasn't used to it.
How could he let me in so easily? Did he think I was trustworthy enough already even though we had only known each other for a short period of time? If he did, I'm glad about it.
But I knew that it wasn't only about "fitting in" he was bothered about, there were other things deeper than that. I was sure of it.
Maybe if I asked him he would give me the answers?
I shook my head. No, I need to stay on my lane and know my boundaries.
If I asked him about his life before he was adopted, I know that it would be hard for him to answer it.
The more I thought of Harry, the more questions popped onto my mind about who he really was and what happened in his past.
I had to wait. I told myself.
I had to wait for the right time to come for him to share that to me.
Now was not the right time.
"Harry," I turned my body to the right then crossed my legs so I was now facing him.
He looked up from his lap to look at me, his lips curving up to a weak smile. "Yeah?"
"I'll drive you to the hospital." I offered, smiling slightly. "You broke your arm, right?"
He laughed, "I wouldn't let you drive me home!"
My cheeks turned into a shade of pink, "Oh yeah, I'm sorry." I turned to look away.
What a stupid offer, Alice. My subconscious scoffed at me.
I sighed, pouting slightly.
"Why are you apologizing?" He asked.
I looked up at him, "I. . ."
He chuckled, "I'm not just used to people driving me home, especially a girl." He explained. "It doesn't really look like appropriate to me and you know girls get distracted easily." He winked at me then smirked.
I blushed. Here was Pervert Harry.
I scoffed, "You just don't want to sit down on my car because it was so rusty compared to your Audi R8." I rolled my eyes.
"Actually," he said slowly. "I just don't like the idea of other people driving my car."
"Yeah right!" I said sarcastically.
He just laughed silently, ignoring my comment. "And I already asked my cousin to pick me up."
"Oh okay." I hoped that my voice didn't sound disappointed.
He smirked, "You just want to have fun in car, don't you, Alice?"
I blushed again after hearing the word "fun"
I laughed, "No" I said seriously.
He inched closer, "Come on! I know you want to, babe." He said slowly and seductively.
"Babe? Really, Harry what the hell?!"
Shit.
Why am I so turned on?
