Nicknames

Steve: He likes to call you 'darling' and 'sweetie' a lot of the time. He was used to men calling women darling back in the day so he uses that. The 'sweetie' name has a bit more of meaning behind it. 1, he thinks you are so kind and sweet and 2, he had met you in an old fashioned American candy shop and you had accidentally touched hands when trying to pick out a sweet. Every since then, he hasn't stopped calling you that.

You: 'Soldier' is probably the most common one because of, obvious reasons. You also call him 'cutie' because it makes him blush, therefore making him even cuter.

Tony: Tony has a variety of names he likes to use but 'kitten' is probably his favourite. It describes you as a person, small, petit, adorable but sometimes sassy and adventurous. It also comes in handy in the bedroom if ya know what I mean ;). His second favourite would be 'babe' because it's simple and common. He also can't seem to stop calling you 'his' or 'mine'. You think he has a problem with identifying if people know you're his or not. He sometimes repeats it over and over again to people which makes you cringe.

You: Baby is the usual go to. It's cute, but it defines him a lot of the time. A big baby.

Bruce: He usually calls you by your name but he sometimes calls you 'babe' or 'sweetie'. Keeping it plain and simple. He doesn't need to call you special names to express his love towards you. Love is more than just words.

You: Sweetheart for sure. It's true so that's why you use it. It also soothes him and calms him down when he gets a little rilled up.

Bucky: He sticks to the classics like Steve. 'Doll' of course, is the favourite. He uses it more than he uses your own name. He might use it in different combinations like 'doll face', or 'baby doll' which makes your heart flutter. Others include names like 'darling' 'love' and 'gorgeous'. 

You: Like Steve, also call him 'soldier', but your personal favourite is 'dork'. You like to tease each other with silly names and dork just sticks with him. He'd walk in the room and surprise hug you from behind and just whisper, "Hey doll, you know I love you right?" and you'd reply with "If you didn't, I wouldn't be dating you, dork." And you'd both laugh in a connected kiss

Peter: He's young and is a little shy to use fancier nicknames, so he just calls you 'babe' or 'baby. The way he says it though has so much meaning. His tone of voice changes from his normal voice to a deeper, smoother tone. It drives you insane.

You: You love calling him names that make him blush like 'cutiepie'. When he's embarrassed, it makes you turn into a smiley mess. You also know that Peter loves when you smile because he can't seem to shut up about it.

Clint: He is very playful and likes to make fun of you. He'll call you names like 'shortie' and 'baby' in a mocking matter to make you grumpy because apparently you're adorable when your angry. But after he'll always tackle you in a big hug and kiss you because you were being "too cute" and he loves you.

You: To retaliate his teasing, you call him 'birdie' or 'pigeon' because he is very fond of people not calling him bird names.

Pietro: He is also like Clint and you tease each other. He calls you 'shortie', 'cutie', and 'princesa'. His accent is such a turn on whenever he says your nicknames. He literally sends shivers down your spine when he says them. 

You: 'speedy', 'road runner',  and Piet are your favourites. the funny thing is, he doesn't understand the references so he doesn't know if you're teasing him or not.

Thor: He uses older terms like 'm'lady', 'princess', 'dear' and 'gorgeous'. In Asguard, it is considered rude to not address women with a proper terms. His favourite is 'princess' because he likes to think that you're a real princess. He would introduce you to people with, "Hello, this is princess Y/N."

You: 'Prince' and 'dear' are your go-tos. He doesn't understand a lot of modern lingo so you also stick to the old fashioned words.

Loki: He also uses old terms like Thor. He calls you 'beautiful', 'My Queen' and 'My love'. 'Queen' is his favourite because he sees himself as a king, and therefore you are his queen. He can be a little aggressive though so a lot of people feel threatened when he thoroughly states that you are his queen.

You: You call him 'love', 'dear' and 'My King'. When he needs confidence and is feeling down, calling him king makes him feel better.
