Chapter 2: After School

Alumina(Anais' POV)
After we had finished school, Cole(Axel) fell to his knees and was crying tears of joy.
"Oh thank Kami-sama the day is over!" Cole shouted with a smile, tears of happiness still streaming down his face," it felt like a whole week in there."
"Um Co-Axel it was a half day today," I said with a sweatdrop.
"Does it matter?" He breathed out, exasperated," we were still in their for four hours, that's enough kiddy stuff for me!" I face palmed while shaking my head.
"Imbecile."
"Hey!" He replied angrily with a pout,"who you callin' an imbecile."
"Well you are the only one here," I commented with a smirk, gesturing to the empty classroom.
"Oops I guess everyone left," Cole remarked with a blush and was scratching the back of his head.
"Oi vey," I said under my breath," we'll c'mon our cousin will be waiting for us, you know, how he gets..."
"Yes!" Cole cheered while going out the door.
"Brothers," I said quietly following after him at a slower pace,"can't live with' em, can't live without' em."
"Oi Anais, vamanós!" Cole called to me in Spanglish.
"I'm comin, I'm comin," I shouted back to him in English," hold your horses!" When I got to where Cole was at I noticed the 3 kids that asked us questions and Conan standing around him.
"There you are!" Cole said with a smile," these guys want to tell us somethin."
"Oh" I replied with my eyebrows raised to them," well go ahead."
"I wanted to know if you would like to join the Detective Boys," the girl, who asked if we were twins, asked. I think her name was Amy from the amount of times she got called out at in gym class.
"¿Qué es eso?" Cole asked in Spanish. The kids looked at us in confusion.
"What my twin brother said in Spanish was "what is that?" I translated.
"Oh it's a group run by Conan to solve cases and find missing things!" The big guy, who asked us how old we are, explained. I think his name was George
"Ya up for it, Axel?" I asked Cole in English.
"I don't really care," Cole replied back in English.
"Okay," I said to the Detective Boys," we'll do it."
"Yay!" The boy who asked us where we lived, cheered. I think his name was Mitch. I'm not good with names as you can tell.
"Our meeting's tomorrow afternoon," Conan said to us," the teacher let's us stay in there to wait for a case.
"Wakarimasu(Understood)" Cole and I replied simultaneously," see ya mañana!"
