Lance's P.O.V: I woke up super early they day of the battle, I jumped into the clothes Allura had made for everyone.
I grabbed my guitar and ran to the school.
"Sorry I'm late" I exclaimed as I ran to meet Pidge.
"Late... Dude you are two hours early" Pidge snooted,
"Then why are you here early" I asked.
"Because the person in the band in charge of sound, a.k.a the amp, has to be here extra early to set up the sound" Pidge replied.
"Oh...uh..okay" I replied.
I sat down and started practicing for the last time, mumbling the words.

It was time, the whole school was in the auditorium, all the bands where behind stage when Principal Zarkon had everyone's attention.
"Welcome everyone to the battle of the bands!" He announced.
After a long boring speech about what the winners get and other things he finallllllyyyyyyyy said "now, let the battle BEGIN!!!"
The school cheered then Vice Principal Haggar announced," The first band to play will be The Popular kids singing Popular song by......Mika....ft. Arina Grande."
The popular kids rolled out onto the stage and began singing. They weren't that bad. I listened closely and smiled hoping we could do better

The finished and I yawned. Haggar introduced the next band and I rolled of to sleep.

When I awoke Shiro was pushing me.
"Dude, wake up, after this band we are up next"
I had slept through 15 bands. I sprang up and grabbed my guitar and went to join my band. When the band on stage rolled off Haggar went to the mic
"that was 16 out 18 bands everyone, but don't cast your voted yet we still have 2 more bands to go"
"Next up, the band, Voltron playing Something Wild by Lindsey Stirling" Haggar said before she walked off the stage. I was ready.
