Kadie's POV

I slowly walked across the pebbles until I reached the door. I took a deep breath before knocking on the door. It slowly opened and a man stood there. I presumed he was the man I spoke on the phone to.

"Hello?" He smiled.

"Hello, Are you Mike Milligan?" I smiled back.

"Yes, and you are?" He asked.

"Kadie, We spoke on the phone," I stated.

"Oh Hello, Kadie, come on in," He smiled.

He led me through into an office where a woman sat.

"This is Gina Conaway, My co-worker and this is Kadie O'Donovan," Mike said.

"Hello, so I presume your a relation of Liam?" She smiled.

"Yeah, I'm his sister," I smiled back.

"We never knew he had any family," Gina added.

"Our parents really aren't parents they are far from that, we also have a brother but he lives in a different country," I said quietly.

"Your only young who do you live with?" Mike asked.

"I was emancipated, I'm Richard's twin sister," I smiled..

"Okay, if you want to go through into the hall if you turn left and the first door on your right you'll find quite a few of the kids if you meet them then you can see Liam," Mike smiled back. I nodded before going.

I went to the room and stood in the doorway as the people in the room faught.

A girl with dark hair and blue highlights was arguing with a younger boy with brown hair.

A girl with dark brown hair bounded over to me.

"Hi, I'm Carmen," She beamed.

"Hi, I'm Kadie," I chuckled.

"That's Lily, Tee, Johnny and Elektra," She said pointing them out.

"Who are you?" Johnny asked stopping his argument.

"I'm Kadie, I'm here for a family visit," I said in a 'duh' voice.

"Do you want me to take you their?" Carmen asked.

"Yes please, I'm looking for Liam O'Donovan," I smiled.

"Okay come with me," She smiled dragging me down some stairs.

"So who are you to Liam?" She asked.

"I'm his sister. I haven't seen him since we were little, so I don't know what he looks like but we send letters and email and stuff," I said softly.

"Why did you suddenly come here now?" She asked.

"Well we have a brother and I lived with him for a bit but he didn't want me to know Liam, he said he was trouble. I got a job and a home and I thought know I was settled it would be a great oppertunity to get to know Liam. And our brother moved away so he doesn't know," I chuckled.

"Liam is trouble, but hopefully you can be a role-model for him," She smiled at me.

"I hope so," I said looking at my feet. I had tried to look professional but I am only sixteen. I had a yellow summer dress on with black leggings and yellow pumps. Not very professional but it looked okay.
