A/N- The Masquerade ball will not go the same way as the one in the programme.
Serena’s POV
I stood outside the cubicle with the black curtain covering the front. Blair was behind the curtain trying on her fourteenth dress. It was for nothing special but she wanted a new dress so I willingly came along. To be honest I didn’t need anything but it wasn’t terrible to hang around with Blair as it was rare now.
The only huge down side was Blair was complaining about Chuck and how he was a disgusting person although she loved him. It was very repetitive, but most of it went in one ear and out the other.
My phone buzzed, so I pulled it out of my pocket to read it. As I got my phone I heard Blair’s go off.
From Chuck:
The Black and White party is now a Saints and Sinners Masquerade.
“I need to get a new dress,” She called from inside the changing room.
“Same, are you going to be a saint or a sinner?” I asked putting my phone back into my bag.
“I don’t know.”
Within a couple of seconds Blair came out of the changing room in the clothes she wore when she got here.
“Shall we start looking for our dresses?” I smiled.
“Sure…” she paused, “Is that… it can’t be?”
I looked in the direction of where she was looking to see the one and only Chuck Bass. Just he wasn’t on his own. He was stood with a shorter brunette who stood on her tip toes and kissed his cheek.
“I’m sure it’s not what it looked like,” I said before Chuck wrapped his arms around the girls waste pulling her into a tight hug.
If looked in a way, it could be totally innocent but when Chuck Bass was involved generally innocence wasn’t.

Abigale’s POV
“Stay in your room, and don’t join the party. You are too young and if you get in trouble, I don’t know what I’ll do,” He explained.
“Got it,” I stated, “Sit here and don’t do anything.”
I smirked as he hugged me and kissed my forehead before leaving the room.
As soon as I knew he had made his way to the party I pulled my dressing gown off to reveal my dress. It reached to my mid-thigh and flared out from below my bust. Where it began to flare a black bow was tied and above that was a strapless white top.
Quickly I added my patterned tights and white heels. As well as this I tied my brown hair up before placing my white eye mask over my eyes. With what I wore I knew no one I knew (which consisted of one person in this state) would recognise me.
Slowly I left my room after I slipped my room key into my bra. Looking around and I made sure no one would notice whether I had come from my room.
When I got to the overly long queue to the party I smirked standing there. Surprisingly it moved relatively fast as I go to the front of the line.
“Name.”
“Rebecca Andrews,” I responded.
He smiled gesturing me to go into the party.
I had made sure I added a fake name onto the end of the list yesterday and now I was able to go to the party I was forbidden to be seen in.
Looking around I couldn’t see him or anyone else that looked familiar, although everyone did have a mask on so it would be hard to find him.
Not particularly knowing what I needed to do at something like this, I made my way to the bar taking a seat on one of the leather stools. I ordered a soft drink and began to sip it as someone sat next to me and ordered a drink.
“I know you’re wearing a mask but how comes I’ve never seen you before?” The man asked.
“I moved from New York years ago, and I only came home a couple of days ago,” I stated, “But how didn’t you know you knew me? There must be many brunettes that look like me when in a mask.”
“Yes, there probably are, but you seem too beautiful for anyone I’ve met before,” He smirked.
I chuckled turning on the stool so I was actually facing him.
“So you think you are a smooth talker?” I chuckled.
“I know I am, but I’ll try not to be,” He smiled softly; “I’m Nate.”
“Abby.”
Nate and I shared a couple of drinks together (obviously nothing alcoholic for me) and even though I had only just met him, I was starting to extremely enjoy his company. Although I was rather focused on Nate, I was still looking around the room to see whether I was caught in what I was doing.
“So do you want to get out of here?” He whispered as his breath tickled my ear.
“Sure, I have a room upstairs,” I smirked letting my lips brush against his neck.
He intertwined his fingers with mine and stood up from the bar as I led him away from the party. As soon as we got to the lift, he lifted me up so my back was pressed against the wall with my legs wrapped around his waist.
I was just under a foot shorter than him so this was one of the only ways to get our heights closer to one another.
It did seem quite odd that I was making out with a guy in a mask, so truthfully neither of us knew what one another looked like.
When the lift stopped he simply carried me out of it as I whispered my room number to him whilst my lips were still against his. Slowly but surely we got to my room although he pinned me to the door to ask me where the key was.
I pulled it from my top handing it to him so he could unlock the door. As soon as the door clicked open we both made our way into my room pulling off our masks. Within seconds of being inside the room my back was on the bed with Nate still leaning over me with my legs around his waist.
Pulling my lips away from his, the figure sat on the bed was finally noticed. My jaw dropped as I realised who it was.
“Charles?” I gasped attempting to push Nate off of me.
“Abigale what are you doing?” He frowned standing up.
I got off of the bed and tried to smile innocently.
“Nothing, I just wanted to go to the party and I got a bit lonely of being here on my own,” I smirked.
“So you brought Nathaniel up to your room?” Charles frowned.
“And how do you two know each other?” I questioned.
I looked from Charles to Nate then back to Charles.
“We’ve been best friends for years don’t you remember Nathaniel Archibald?” He asked.
Looking over to Nate, I tried to find the similarities from the little boy I knew as a kid, and there were way too many to not notice.
“And how do you two know each other?” Nate questioned.
Obviously he didn’t understand the situation which made me laugh lightly but I soon stopped when I got a glare from the pair.
“I’m Abigale Bass, Charles’ younger sister.”
