Chapter 2

(Ivy's POV)

The sun came as soon as possible, making me almost worried about Rose's well being once Priya gets her hands on her. The poor girl will be torn to bits if she tried to fight back.

"Ivy?" Reyna had a smirk on her face, and I stared down at her canines. She was definitely ready to sink those teeth into the human girl. "Thanks to you, we finally have something for the twins to feed on. No more trouble from the authorities."

Even if it is a memory to me, the White twins were almost bloodthirsty every day, which led to a lot of people dying in our previous city. It has been a problem for Reyna and I when we get involved in their problems. It almost came to the point where we had to steal blood bags from hospitals.

The Lovers Cavern was the last thing that I would have used to get someone for the twins. It didn't matter if it was a boy or girl. We just needed someone. The only thing is that Priya already found hers.

My problem with her choice is that she didn't let Rose consent to her problems. Now we have someone who is crazy scared of us, and I'm also the cause of this.

"We'll see, Reyna. For all we know, Priya will go savage on her just like the others." I took a seat at the long dinner table. My cup of tea was there as always, which makes me wonder who normally sets these tables before anyone else can even get here. Sipping it, I turned to look at the large doors.

"Ah, I wouldn't worry. It's been a couple of years since she's actually done that, remember?" The werewolf girl grinned as she placed both hands onto the table. "Even Katrina has proved that. She had a few that would offer blood.. not that she needed it." She rolled her eyes playfully.

"That's because she can control it better than her elder sister." I huffed before taking another sip.

It was silent for a minute, which made me turn my attention to the werewolf. Reyna's eyes were shining a brighter light a lot more than normal. I rose an eyebrow at her until she finally spoke up. "For someone who works outside a lot, I'm surprised that you just drink.. tea."

I didn't respond right away as I continued to drink before placing it back onto the table. "It's a preference, Reyna. Why don't you just drink from your doggy bowl and be quiet."

Reyna pouted before patting my shoulder. "Ah.. You're so mean." It's not like my words really got to her. She's just like a puppy.. Way too cheerful and energetic. I'll admit it, I have a soft side for this girl, but she's just too much for any of us. "Hey, do you want me to fetch Rose? I'm pretty sure she's hungry."

"Go ahead."

(Rose's POV)

My hands continued to pull at the chains. There had to be a way out of here without them knowing that I'm gone, right? There had to be other humans. I couldn't possibly be the only one in this place.

I stopped my actions once I heard footsteps in the hallway again. Gods, who could it be this time?

For a brief second, the footsteps came to a halt, but there was no one in front of my cell. "Hello?" I called out. 'Where are they?' I slowly approached the metal bars as close as possible. "Huh.. I guess no one-"

"There you are!" A woman popped around the corner, frightening me. Letting out a shriek, I backed myself back to the wall. Once she came to full view, she revealed herself as the same waitress from last night. "Aw, were you scared, cutie?" She smiled, showing those pure white teeth. The only difference now is that her canines were much.. sharper, and they definitely showed that.

"Please..! Please get me out of here!" I tried to plead with her.

That spark of energy that the girl once had quickly diminished in a heartbeat. "Look here, human girl. I'm not going to repeat this. You are ours, and there is no way that we're going to let you go." Her eyes shifted into slits, scaring me to death as I pressed myself against the wall.
