The Marking (Reincarnation AU Request) PART THREE

Hello~ thank you for being patient on this. Work has been such a drag and I'm still not yet done! But I actually finished this chapter so I'll publish it! I've been writing one at a time and actually finished the other two requests but I'm not done with this reincarnation AU so I'll put it aside for now.

["IZUKU! COME QUICK, PLEASE!"]

"MOM?!" Izuku scrambles up from his bed, his boots stomping down the stairs towards the front door. He hears the screams of other people on the other side of the phone. Heart pounding on the unknown and his thoughts go to his mother and Katsuki. "WHAT HAPPENED?!"

But Izuku didn't need her answer. When he bursts out the door, he sees it. The smoke and fire at the distance, in the same direction of the hospital.

["Izuku! Please come! I lost--!!"] The call cuts.

Izuku silently gasps, drops the phone in shock and runs. His legs glowing, he jumps from one house to another, dashing and jumping towards the hospital as fast as he could. He doesn't feel the strain of his legs as he uses his quirk out of control. He breaks one roof to another, cracking asphalt as he hops and runs as fast as he could. He hears the ambulance and firetruck sirens at the distance, so near to the hospital on fire, and Izuku can't stop his mind from running to it's dreadful path.

Mom! Kacchan!!

Izuku finally reaches the street, bombarded with hundreds of panicked hospital patients and hospital staff running in chaos. Izuku swings his head left and right, eyes frantic on his search and heaving from his frantic run. He finds heroes scatter to evacuate the scene as orderly as possible, shouting and using their quirk to manage the panic.

As Izuku searches, he jumps over dozens of civilians towards a familiar person.

"IIDA-KUN!" Izuku calls his attention as he lands beside him, seeing his friend clearly alarmed.

"Midoriya-kun!" Iida shouts back, wearing civilian clothes and izuiu remembers he isn't  on duty today. But he himself is covered in soot, edges of his garments burned off and sweat on the side of his face.

Izuku stutters, losing his breath, his heart pounding from seeing the blazing hospital behind Iida. He could only say so little so clearly."M-mom was here..."

Iida grips his shoulder, knowing Izuku's panicked face. "She's okay! She called me to say she got out!"

Izuku smiles in relief but---

"We haven't seen Bakugou! Your mother said she lost him inside the crowd!"

Izuku freezes, his heart sinking "No!! NOOO!" Izuku shouts as he pushes Iida aside, his legs glowing and ready to dash inside the hospital but his friend grabs him by the chance.

"STOP! It's too dangerous! A villain destroyed half of the building and the rest is on fire, Midoriya-kun!!!" Iida's eyes trembling in panic. He knows full well what Izuku is capable of doing without thinking of himself.

"KACCHAN CAN'T MOVE WHEN YOU DON'T TELL HIM TO!!" Izuku screams, pulling away from Iida's grip.

"I KNOW!" Iida shouts back. "You're not in your right mind now. Leave this to the others!!"
