Sade's POV
It's confusing. The memories are weird and fragmented. I can't grasp it all. I shook my head. Lance drove on with a smile on his face. "Take that grin of your face. You look like an idiot!" I hissed. He grabbed my hand and interwined our fingers together. He's rosy and cheerful every since we had sex yesterday. It's so annoying!!! Can't he see it's embarrassing!?
"I am an idiot. For you." He spoke slyly. There was a glint in his eyes. I gulped. "Stop...don't do that. I might puke from the cheesiness." He laughed while I forced my gut to not be disgusted. "It's not that disgusting! Hahaha...you're face!!" Ha laughed on. "You got to embrace the sappiness. It's part of the romance." I can't believe I'm falling for him. "See this goosebumps? Yeah? It's my disgust!" He chuckled watching my expression turn from horrfied to blushing, like a virgin.
"Watch where you're going! Put your eyes back on the road. I don't want to die young." He did as he was told. I felt him squeeze my hands a little. He's so bipolar. Innocent, cheerful, puppy-like, and a romantic, but then his other is perverted, sadistic, sly, and a beast. Not like that! Kinda... You get the memo. He would eat me! I'm not sure I like the other better but I like the puppy more than the beast.
We arrived at the mansion to get our luggage. I haven't called Rey either. He must be upset. "I gotta check on with Butler, okay?" I nodded and he ran off. Lawrence Bossivich, one of the richest CEO in the country, the youngest also. His family has been building up this company with pure hardwork and cleverness. I heard they're the devil in the business around here. I would take it as a compliment. Their hard work finally gave them a break 15 years ago and since then they've been gradually building up higher and higher into the ranks.
Like all good faces, there is a dark side. Twenty years ago, his family was in the shady business. They were a powerful mafia group that controlled a lot of successful casinos, bars, clubs, and 'routes'. They took a new leaf but a Bossivich is still a Bossivich. They dip their hands in the dirt once in a while, even Lance. I know there's still some issues with the mafias. How I knew this? Connections, observations, mainly connections, personal research, and Lance told me some. And I used Google a bit. Never underestimate the intelligence of google.
Have you ever wondered how they are so well endowed?
I went to our room and grabbed my bag. I didn't have much. They provided everything. I took my papers and slipped them in the bag and I had my laptop in there too. I noticed the pink rabbit. It was the stuffed toy he won on our date. Man, I'm really getting used to this terms. Who knew I'll be married to a man. I collected the things he got me and moved on. It was only two things, the pink rabbit and the note he wrote me. Yeah, I know. I get a bit sentimental. Once we got everything, we're moving back to his apartment. It's too big in here.
I saw Mike and went over to him. "Hey, Mike! How's it going?" I spoke up. This guy is huge. No matter how many times I see him, he's got a large built full of muscle. "Master Sadden," He bowed. "Oh, shut up! Call me Sade." I said. He rose and nodded. He's such a softie too. In that body lies a marshmallow. "I'm doing good." He replied. "What are you up to?" I asked. "Joe asked for me." I nodded. "I see. Well, then go on. Ah~ before you go, will you tell me where Lance went?"
"Lance? You mean Master Lawrence?" He confirmed. I nodded. "He's in the study room with Butler." He croaked. "Are you sick?" I asked. He shook his head. What a shy fellow. I made my way to the study room.
True enough, when I got there, he was there. He was sitting behind a desk pull of papers. Worry etched his face. "Butler! I don't know what to do here...would you-" He looked up to see me. "Sade! Sorry," He rubbed his temple and rummaged through the papers, "I thought you were Butler." I put down the bag and watched him. "Do I look like an old man to you?" He looked back up at me and smiled. For a moment, his worry faded.
