Sade's POV
We just parted yesterday night just like that. I was a little regretful but I have to go by to an old friend's today. And well...I don't know. It's all the excuse I have right now. I got up and prepared. When I opened the door I found flowers and a letter waiting for me down the floor. They were a beautiful bouquet of wild flowers. A smile crawled into my face as I picked up the letter.
Good morning, Sade
How was you sleep? I hope you weren't too upset yesterday night. I had fun. I hope we do that again. By now I think you realize I'm not as composed as you've thought. But I can't help myself when I am around with you. If you are free please call me. I'll answer anytime. I'll be gone today but I'll have a lot of time tomorrow. Take care and I hope to see you soon.
From someone who's madly inlove with you, L.B.
I walked back to our room and slipped the note in my pant's pockets. The bouquet laid in the table. "Now what am I supposed to do with flowers? They die within a few days you know? I'm not a woman." I chuckled to myself. I placed it an empty vase and poured water on it. I couldn't stop myself from smiling.
My hands felt my phone. I considered about calling him but...wouldn't it embarrassing? However, before I can even think any further, I flipped it open and started dialing his number. The phone rang for a couple of times until he answered. "Hello? Sade!?" He answered with his tail wagging. He sounded so happy. What's up with that? I can't help but feel pleased. "I just called to say that I received the flowers and the note..." I spoke calmly. "Is that so? Do you like it?" He spoke.
I nodded. "It's nice, but what do you suppose I do with flowers. You do realize that I am a man, right?" I laughed. "Yeah, but flowers are meant to be given with meaning and feelings. In this occasion, I'm just happy that you're here with me. Well, not at the moment but you get what I mean." If I can see him right now, would he be blushing? "Are you blushing right now?" I asked slyly. "N-no...yes...?" I laughed. "Thanks and I read the note. I had so much fun. Today, I'll be busy but I'll call you after I'm done, okay?" "Okay...have you had breakfast yet?" I shook my head, "No."
"Then please stop by to the dinning room before you go out. If not, drop by to a place and grab something to eat. Skipping breakfast is bad for your health." He talked. I smiled. "Yes, mom." I said. He laughed. "I'm not trying to nag on you. I just worry...that's all." I would say something sarcastic but I'm in a good mood so, I'll let him off for today. I nodded. "We should have another date again." He sounded a bit unsure. "We should." I replied certainly. There was a pause. I heard him say 'I got it.' to someone. "Okay." He replied to me. "Well then, I guess you're pretty busy. I'll hang up now." I said. Yet, another pause. "I see...then...talk to you soon." I hanged up.
I picked up my stuff and headed out. My thoughts wandered to him. I can't believe a guy like him can deal with shady things. It's not in his character to do so. The more I thought of it, the more I imagine myself being by his side and helping him. I shook my head and thought about what I was going to do today.
I surprised myself when I walked about the huge place like I know where I was going. "Good morning." The servants of this place will say. I would reply, "Good morning to you too."
Eventually, I found my way to the dining room. That took about 5 minutes of walking? Joe was there eating by himself. "Good morning, Mrs. Bossivich." He quickly got up and bowed with a sneer in his face. I batted my eyelashes and gasp. "Please, sir, you do me no justice." I spoke sarcastically. "So, what's for today's schedule?" He asked. He motioned me to a seat and I followed. He sat me down like a gentleman. I wasn't comfortable with this action. "I'm not a woman you know? Plus, Mrs. is a bit..."
