in which two young women find themselves revealing their feelings towards each other—in the most unlikely ways.

"WHEN are y'all ugly ass hooligans gonna leave?" Pam asked with an irritated voice as she shot mean looks at the two black men standing by the door and not going out of it.

"C'mon on Pam, don't be like that," Cole says giving her a flat look before looking at the three other ladies that were sitting on the couch, licking his lips as he rubbed his palms together. "Not in front of the guests, please," he says pushing her forehead to the side so that she stumbled back. He went to the ladies playing cool. "Hey beautiful girls, y'all come here often?"

"Boy please, I don't date scrubs," scoffed Debbie who flipped her black straight hair over her shoulder.

"Debbie don't be so mean. They are my friends," Gina says warmly in which she got a shrug from Debbie.

"He might be a scrub," Tommy says pointing at Cole who made a face at him. He walked closer to the other woman with smooth chocolate skin and with a small Afro. "But me on the other hand—,"

"I only date guys with hair. I'm sorry," Sasha says in a dismissive tone as she waved him off with her hand, not even looking at him.

"There ain't nothing with a shiny heads," perked up the carmel toned woman named Willa who had a pretty smile on her face, she batted her eyelashes at the bald man who was simply smiling at her. "C'mere boy." She motioned over.

Tommy went over and sat right next to Willa, draping his arm over her shoulder as she just giggled like a teenage girl. "You know, my mom always told me if you find a beautiful girl always tell her how beautiful she is."

"Get out Tommy," Pam deadpanned pointing towards the door.

"Damn why is beedy bead here Gina?" Martin asked with a scowl on his face as he walked out the room. "I should've known that Godzilla made their way into my house."

"Martin, don't start," Gina sighs shaking her head.

"Nah G, it's good," Pam says walking up to Martin. "Let the King Kong over here talk his shit, because he ain't got nothing on me."

"King Kong," Martin laughed mocking her. "Listen I'm not finna do this today, let me dip."

Martin didn't even give his girl a kiss, he literally walked right past her. He simply overlooked her and fixed his jersey that he was wearing. Martin, Cole, and Tommy were going to a basketball game that they somehow got court-side seats from guy off the corner he says. Gina just stood there watching him say by to everybody else besides her. She even saw him make some unnecessary eye contact with Debbie, who shot him a flirty smile. The fellas said their goodbyes—even Tommy who was trying get it on with Willa—before they left the apartment.

Pam sat in a chair by the door while and Gina sat in the other chair by the kitchen. Willa, Debbie, and Sasha sat on the couch. And finally, the girls were all by themselves.

"Are you and Martin falling off?" Debbie asked suddenly as she looked over at Gina, as well as the others girls.

She laughed nervously, shifting in her seat, "Why would you think that?"

"Well..he didn't even say anything to you when he left with his homies. Does that not like..mean anything to you?" Debbie asked raising a brow.
