in which zayn gives his girl a taste of what she has been missing out on.

IT was quite challenging to impress Malaya—or even get her to get out the house because she was so homebodied—and it shocked Zayn that she actually agreed to come up to the studio with him tonight. The two has been talking for less than six months now ever since they met at a friend's party over the summer. Zayn liked this girl a lot and he had to work his fucking ass off just to take her out on a date. She wasn't easy, but that's what made her even more attractive to him and he fucked with that heavily.

He liked to call her Laya, or Mala for short sometimes. Mainly it was cute nicknames like 'babygirl' to 'suga' and from 'chunky' to 'princess', along with many others. When he was upset with her he would say her full government name—which she fucking hated—just to purposely piss her off, and sometimes it was to his amusement as well. Zayn knew that Malaya wasn't like other girls, and that is what made her special. She was very intelligent, headstrong, independent, and true to herself. Ever since the media found out that they were dating she hasn't changed one bit, and Zayn appreciated that.

Man, she was the most beautifulest thing he has ever laid eyes on. He has never been so whipped before, and she definitely has him wrapped around her pretty little finger. She was a deep golden toned beauty with a pretty smile and eyes that would have you melting in a matter of seconds. Zayn adored everything from her perfect round afro down to her cute little toes that he would tickle whenever they were out. Malaya was a chunky woman with cute chubby arms, thick legs, and a belly that Zayn found all super cute. What made her even more attractive is that she owned up to her figure and has embraced the fact that she might have more meat than some of these girls out here, but that was okay. She was a sweet girl deep down once you get past her many layers of sass and attitude. And Zayn was one lucky guy to get past all those barriers.

"How many times do I gotta tell you to stop putting that fuckin' pen through my hoops?" Malaya swatted Zayn's arm away and threw the pen at his chest. "The hell is wrong with you?"

"You aren't paying attention to me," Zayn sighed as he ran his fingers through his hair that fell in front of his eyes again. "I was talkin'..and then you zoned out on me.

"M'sorry," she apologized and rubbed on his arm smoothly, feeling a bit bad for getting hyped. "What were you sayin' again?"

"I was askin' if you would like to hear me sing now?" He repeated as he smoothly laced their fingers together.

"Yes, of course, go ahead," she nodded and sent him a small smile.

Zayn kissed her knuckles before he got up from the black leather couch they were sitting on. He grabbed his notepad and went over to the control system, doing whatever he had to do to get ready before he went into the booth.

Malaya watched from the other side with attentive eyes. She has never actually been in the studio with him before, and deep down she was excited to be here and see what magic was gonna take place soon. Her hands were laced together and she was sitting up straight, being sure not to miss a single thing.

Just before the instrumentals began he slid the headphones over his head, and in the process he moved his hair out of his face as well. He scooted closer to the mic and placed his hands over the sides of the headphones. And within the first hum she was locked in.

She had heard the first version of I Don't Wanna Live Forever when Zayn did it with Taylor Swift, but for the past two weeks he has been working on the acoustic version with him singing it by himself. Malaya begged for him to give her a sneak peak of it but he always told her that she would have to wait until it was finished. When he first asked her to come to the studio with him she thought that he just wanted some company since they haven't seen each other in two days, but she wasn't expecting all of this. In all reality, he was gonna surprise her by singing the song acoustic so she could be the first one to hear it.
