I woke up and immediately checked my phone.
10:46am.
Khalil💘: I had fun last night babe ;)
Keisha🤪🤣: Girl spill the deets on your date last night!
I was in an extremely good mood so I turned on my favorite morning playlist. I grabbed my brush off of my vanity and used it as a microphone.
There was a knock on my door.
"Who is it?" I asked turning my music down.
"It's mom."
"Come in."
"Hey Jen! A little birdie to me... that you went on a date last night?" She sat down on my bed.
"Mhmmm!"
"How was it?"
"By the look on your face I'm guessing it was pretty good." She said slightly laughing.
"We went to the moviessss and then we went to a new food spot and then we kissed!"
"Yes!"
Mom squealed. "I'm so happy for you two!"

"He's calling me! Hi Khalil!"
"Hey J. I had a lot of fun last night."
"Me too."
"I already miss you."
"I miss you tooooo!"
"I miss your smile, your laugh, your lips and your beautiful face."
"Awww!" Mom said.
"Hi Mrs. Pierce..."
"Hey Khalil. I was just leaving! See you guys later! Bye."
"Sorry about that."
"It's all good beautiful."
"Stoopppp." He always knew how to make me smile.
"What? I can't tell my girl how beautiful she is?" He said.
"Oh so I'm your girl now." I licked my lips.
