Jungkook

Ah my first impression of Lani noona was that how could she have been a trainee if she didn't speak Korean? It sounds mean to say but that's what it was. I wanted to befriend her since we would be living together but I didn't speak any Mandarin so...but since Namjoon hyung started to teach her Korean I was able to talk to her a little bit. After a few months she was able to speak basic Korean so we were able to talk to each other more! After a year she knew fluent Korean so it was much easier for myself and the others to talk to her. She is one of my best friends and I'm so glad she joined Bangtan!

Taehyung

My first impression of noona was that she was from a different country and that was awesome! I mean it's cool that the hyungs besides Yoongi hyung were born in different cities from Daegu but noona was born in Hong Kong! It was hard to talk to her since she didn't know Korean but we still managed to talk in our own way! She always talks about her home country and it's so cool to learn more about China! She tries to teach us Mandarin but we don't listen that well so she gave up. *laughs*

Jimin

When I first met noona I was hesitant on her joining. I mean I respected Bang PD-mins decision on adding her but I was confused since she didn't speak much Korean. She had been a trainee for 7 years prior and I couldn't help but wonder how. When I look back on it now I wish I could have known how much she would mean to me later on. We became actual friends one year later and we've been inseparable ever since!

Namjoon

Lani was very scared at first. Even though she had been a trainee for 7 years she was vulnerable to criticism since she didn't know a whole lot of Korean. I didn't know much Mandarin myself so it was hard teaching her but I'm glad I pushed through. Her and I are very close because of that. I could sense that Jimin and Jungkook were hesitant on her joining but they gave her a chance and I could tell that meant a lot to her.

Hoseok

When I first met Lani I was happy! Even though she was scared about joining Bangtan she kept a smile on her face and I admire that! It was hard talking to her for the first year we knew each other since she didn't know much Korean. Until she knew Korean she couldn't write songs with us, only perform them. I knew that she was sad about that but we all reassured her we were fine with it. Even now she's sad about it and we continue to tell her we were happy to have her with us!

Yoongi

When Lani first joined BTS I was excited actually *chuckles*. You could tell that she was excited yet scared. Bang PD-min had told us about her trainee days and I knew she meant business. Despite not knowing Korean during her trainee days she worked her butt off to get where she is today, and I respect her immensely for that. Her and I are very close, and in my opinion? We are the closest out of all the members. Of course we all have our experiences with her that makes us so close to her but I feel like we are the closest, and Namjoon and her would be a close second.

Jin

When I first met Lani I gave her a stuffed dog. Since I was the oldest Bang PD-min told me about her before the others and I got her a dog. Still to this day I don't understand why he told me and not Namjoon since he is the leader but he refuses to tell me why. Anyways, I gave her a stuffed dog and she repeatedly said thank you in Korean to me. Even if she wasn't fluent in Korean she still knew some phrases thanks to her brother. I'm glad Lani joined our little family. She's like our princess.

How was this? Do you want me to do a separate chapter on Lani's and Yoongi's experience?? ~ keung 🦄
