The room was pitch black as a certain black hair paladin laid in his bed. He began mumbling the word no over and over again as sweat dropped down his forehead. Shiro was having another nightmare about being a prisoner again. Yet, the figure creeping closer to him didn't know that. All it knew was that it wants him. And it wants him now. The figure crept closer and closer. Shiro's whimpers of fear could be heard echoing through the room. His body began to shake while his sweat poured down soaking into his bed. Every step the figure took forward, Shiro would get more panicked in his sleep. That it until it reached him. The figure slumped up on the bed on top of the male's chest trying to keep him from making to much noise. Then very slowly their hands slid upwards towards his neck with the creature's body. That was when they attacked causing Shiro's eyes to dart open.
Daniel giggled tapping the large male's face with his hands again. Shiro smiled sitting up slowly holding the toddler in his arms carefully. "What are you doing here little warrior?" Shiro asks him with a smile. Daniel tilted his head. "Unci, Shiro you were mumbwing in your sweep." Daniel stated meeting the other male's eyes. He had a bit of a problem with mispronouncing words. No on minded though. Allure counted it as another reason to spoil and baby the four year old. "Oh....Don't worry about me. You should be sleeping. You're younger and you need it to grow big and strong like your uncle Shiro and your daddy." Shiro admitted paling a bit. "Was it a nigthmare?" Daniel asked. Shiro shook his head but, to honest it was. He had been having nightmares night after night after Lotor had been shot and out in that coma. That happened for not one, not two but, five and half weeks now. The worst part was that he couldn't get them to stop. Just like he couldn't stop the guilt of what might have cause Lotor getting shot. "No wies!" Daniel pouted looking at him. Shiro sighed frowning a bit. "Right buddy. No lies. It's not okay to lie. Yes, I had a nightmare but, don't worry about me. I'm good." Shiro smiled. Daniel nodded before he dropped down in bed next to the male with a smile. Daniel them picked up some of the sheets and snuggled under them. Then his eyes looked at Shiro. "Daniel what are you doing?" Shiro asked seeing the boy waiting to go to bed. "Oh! Daddy sweeps with my when I have a nightmwre. So I wanna sweep with you to protect you from the mwnsters like how you and daddy protect the gawaxy." Daniel yawned rubbing his eyes. Shiro smiled. My god this child was cute. "Okay, okay. Just make sure you get to sleep soon." Shiro smiled laying down with a yawn. Daniel nodded snuggling into his chest. "Good. Now sleep tight Daniel." Shiro smiled. "Night nights uncie Shiro." Daniel yawned before dozing off. Shiro slept there to but, for once in five weeks he didn't have another nightmare that night.
