The secret of a paladin complete (✔️)

Final count down-part one

Spoiler alert only a few chapters left of this. How many? Well I have three..possibly four planed. So be prepared for the end.

Lance was running.
All he could do was laugh mentally as a meme of running popped into his head. How he wished times were such that simple. It would be much simpler.
Back then he had friends to laugh at memes at. He had family dinners every other night at home. He had swim club every Thursday afternoon and he was even in the choir for a few years. He could recite the bee movie back then. Everything was perfect in his mind.
That is until his senior year when everything changed. Yet, we all know how that ends. He ended up having his son. When he did his friends started to distance themselves. Plus swim club had ended by then which gave him a huge scholar ship to the school he wanted. Yet, every other part of the high school forgot him. Things became hell especially after her graduated.
Afterwards he had his son, well things got better again. They only got better as time progressed. He got into his space school. He saved the universe. He got married. He had a brand new family, one that would stay together no matter what.
That was all he could think of as he lead a new group of soldiers into battle against a whole battalion of zarcon's army. They were all he could picture as he attacked some guards and killed some other. He just pictured his husband as well as his son. They were all he could think of as he fought.
Maybe when this was all other life could get better. Maybe they could move into a bigger house. Maybe he could teach at the garrison. Maybe he and Keith could take a nice honeymoon. Maybe they could get a dog. Yet, he knew one thing for sure. No matter where they ended up he wanted more kids.
At least 5 kids in total. Two girls and two more boys. He even had named picked out in his head. Okay well two. One for a girl, Lily, and a boy, Mateo. Yet, all these thoughts were useless at the moment. All he had to focus on at the moment was battle.
Then maybe after he could discuss this with his husband.

Keith's as telling as he dodged a few blast in one lion. Then another blast. And another. He kept yelling orders in their come to other ships and dodging hurt when he saw it. His ship stopped in the air.
There was a whole battalion. One with thousands of ships. Each one more big than the last. Each one looked more damaging then ever. Yet, in the middle he could make out his shape. He could see him grinning. He could see Zarcon standing in the middle of a room watching the battle grinning like the sick man he was. Suddenly Keith felt a rush of anger.
This man didn't deserve to live. He didn't even deserve anyone in his life. He had betrayed his son. He allowed that damage which to do whatever she wanted to him and now lotor was...well he didn't wanna think about that. He wanted to think about one thing and one thing only, what he was gonna do when he git his hand on Zarcon.
"Keith! Keith is that it?" Lances voice could be heard saying from the com. Keith jumped gulping as lance watched from the ground horrified.
"Is that what?" Keith blurted oyt.
"Is that the bastards ship?" Lance blurted oyt shaking in fear.
"Yeah, yeah it is and I can see him looking at us."
"There must be 20000000 ships up there." Pidge spoke up next.
"Well then we'll just have to shot them all down!" Shiro spike up.
"Shiro we don't have enough back up to do that. We..winning is impossible like this." Pidge sounded more scared than what they ever had before.
"Guys we got out of worse situations then this. And we'll got oyt of this and you wanna know why?" Keith blurted oyt.
"Do I wanna know?" Pidge asks slowly.
"It's because we're humans. And humans, while weak in the eyes of other aliens, they are the strongest species of all. We make bonds others can't even dream of that help us in the long run and those bonds make us stronger. With those bonds we evolve and become better versions of a species. One that is invincible if we stand together.We are human and we complete each other! We are human and we are strong!" Keith spoke aloud tying to inspire people.
Pidge just held in a groan athow cheesy it was while Lance sighs knowing if they survived this they would need to get Keith a public speech teacher or something. Sure it was nice but, not very inspiring. If anything it was more awkward. Or maybe it was because they were in a deathly situation they found the speech awkward. Shiro have a half hearted call as the soldiers he was with could be heard clapping.
"I...we can come meet you with the lions in five minutes as planned. Can you hold out until then?" Hunk asks. Keith gulped.
"I think so." Keith sighs. "I mean it's just me an-"
"Are you sure about that?" A female voice,Ke pele asked as her wife held in a smile. He went tortured the ship seeing millions of space ships of all kind. Each one standing with Voltron. His eyes shined.
"Wh-"
"Evening darling sorry were late for your wedding, the kids kinda kept us busy but we further bringing this as a wedding gift would make up for it." Ke pele grinned to herself as her wife hooked everyone's coms up.
"I have ever been so happy to see space ships." Keith chuckled to himself.
"I know right. How much time do you all need?"
"Five minutes."
"Take all the time you need love, we got this." Her wife spoke up grinning. Keith broke out in a grin.
This was gonna be fun.
