The end

Six years later.....
Daniel yawned stretching as he climbed out of bed. The nine year old rubbed his big ocean blue eyes as he dragged his body over to his night stand which had his clothes for today on them. He smiled to himself when his father could be heard.
"Daniel, you up yet?" Keith yelled upstairs 'to his oldest son.
"Yeah dad I'm up! I'll be down in a minute." He yelled back down as he quickly started to get dressed again. As he did he glanced at the clock. Thank god it was the first day of summer vacation. Otherwise he would have missed three classes by then.
Daniel grabbed his suitcases and rushed down the stairs. He smiled standing at the bottom of the stairs holding the suitcases close to his chest looking around. He was so excited which was most likely why his father's could be heard giggling.
"Slow down there buddy where's the fire?" Keith chuckled from the kitchen. Daniel looked over the stair railing and to his left. His father's were sitting in the kitchen, McDonalds on the table and Mateo, Daniel's five year old younger brother was sitting there downing some fries.
Daniel blushed leaving his suitcases where they were and headed into the kitchen. His other father chuckled messing up his hair before kissing his forehead, while somehow balancing his two year old daughter on his hip. Daniel smirked as Allura, his younger sister, giggled leaning over kissing her brother on the foreheads as well. He smiled cutely. God, Allura was so angelic you would have sworn she was a reborn goddess of something.
"Sit down and sleep. We're just waiting to go up with Shiro's and Hunk's family. I think Kuro is coming too. Oh and Pidge is also bringing their fiancé." Lance Smiled leading his oldest over to his seat. His son responded downing food enjoying this very much. His father's chuckled as Allura was put down in her high chair where she promptly began feeding herself.
"Slow down you don't wanna choke." Keith Smiled.
"Plus you don't wanna look to messy for Katy." Lance grinned. His son broke out in a big blush. His entire face was red but that was to be expected. After all the poor boy had a crush on the girl for two years now. Yet, he was to nervous around her to do anything but barf if she touched him. However it had always been that way since Hunk adopted her. Maybe he always had a crush on her. Either way his parents found it cute and couldn't help but tease him about it.
"Would you stop it. I don't care about her that much." The oldest boy mumbled stuffing his mouth just as the backs room opened and a familiar family snuck in. Lance held in a laugh as he made eye contact with Hunk while Katy snuck up behind Daniel. She smiled watching his head before speaking up.
"Care about who?" She asks moving her head to rest on his left shoulder. The boys blue landed on her and automatically dropped his food and scream in panic. The adults laughed as the kids began talking.
"No one! No one at all."
"Are you sure? It sure does sound like you're talking about someone. Someone very important."
"Nope I'm sure!"
"Okay well can I have some fries then."
"Wha-why?"
"Cause I'm hungry duh."
The kids bickering and chatting continued as Mateo race down the hall with Hunk's adopted son to go play with trucks.  Lance chuckled standing next to his friend while Shay and Keith caught up.
The so old friends just laughed like they handy in years. They always did when they met up for this trip. Every year, during the week of Zarcon's defeat, they would go on a vacation together and celebrate how good the universe was now. Usually someone would leave early for many reasons. The last time they all went on this trip, Lotor had to leave early because Kuro had eaten cat food and got sick. It became like a running bet on who would leave early this year. So far everyone's money was on Lotor once again mainly because his husband, while being a clone of the new captain of the Garrison, was a big idiot. Plus not to mention they had adopted a baby two months ago who Lotor kept going on was fussy as ever.
Soon time passed throughout the day and the rest of the old team showed up. Pidge showed up with their fiancé and two dogs, who were extremely spoiled. Cornan showed up with his new partner, who just seemed happy to be there. Soon Shiro showed up with his husband, Adam, and their boyfriend/Fiancé, Curtis, with the twins and their three other kids plus their cat. Just as everyone packed their cars and got ready to go, a red mini van pulled up. The car parked and Lotor walked over to lance.
The two smiled before hugging each other while Lances kids raced over to hug their second favourite uncle. Allura soon giggled as Lotor kissed her little cheeks like always while using his free hand to mess up Mateos head after squeezing Daniels cheeks. As for Shiro's four boys, they all just clung onto Adam's legs. Or at least they were as Pidge raced over to hug their friend.
"So where's the idiot?" Pidge asks as they soon hugged him too. Lotor opened his mouth when a voice spoke up.
"Here." Kuro Smiled carrying a sleeping four month old against his chest. Lance cooed walking over to get a look at his niece. Shay walked over doing the same as well making her husband laugh. Keith sighed watching his family bond with his friend standing next to his brother.
The two brothers stood there before he spoke up.
"Mateo started asking about the war and what we did...I don't know what to say to him." Keith sighs slowly.
"Well just tell him the full truth when he's older. Just for now tell him you helped the universe." Shiro admitted.
"But how do I started it off telling him this story when the time starts?"
"Just be honest with what you feel comfortable telling him. Oh and don't forget to tell him the best part." Shiro Smiled watching his partners trying to pull their kids off of Lotor legs making Allura laugh loudly in her uncle's arms.
"And wants would that be?" Keith asks slowly.
"The happy ending."
