Why so blue?

Silenced

He was silence
told his opinion was worthless
when it meant the future
he was silence
trying to get out of his shell
but being thrown back in
he was silence
by the ones around
By society
because he was different
because he wanted to be his own person
he was silenced
but continuing like this he would do no
he was silence and he was done with it
so silenced he was no more
he's not letting them cover his
ideas
beliefs
or who he is
he's done trying to please them
he's done pretending to be something he's not
he's done being silenced
