Chapter 24: Shirt

It's just my first day here at this university but things became a lot of hectic. We did various actvities and we were left with tons of assignments.

"Let's just study together while we video call." Jaehyun suggested. I smiled at him sadly.

"I'm sorry if we can't really talk." I told him. He chuckled at me.

"It's okay... I expected it already but at least I still get to see you." He told me and kissed the camera.

Thank goodness that my dormmates are busy too so they didn't heard the kiss sound. I pulled my earphones and wore it. I kissed back.

"Ahhh... I miss you..." Jaehyun exclaimed that made me laugh. I smiled at him brightly.

"I miss you more..." I told him and lovingly looked at his eyes.

"Alright. Let's get back to our notes." He annouced so I chuckled.

"The prof is killing me..." Jungwoo complained while Lucas massaged his back.

"Yeah, he's adding to the stress we have." I replied back.

We are on our way to a bookstore to buy the things we need for the activity tomorrow. Our professor asked us to buy in this specific book store even though it's far from the uni. He said that his friend is the owner of the store. Ugh. There will be additional points if you'll buy there.

We looked around and it looks like the things there are already old. They look fine but they're dirty. I can clearly see dust. I'm getting irritated.

When we bought the things we need, we went to a street vendor and bought some skewers. Suddenly, a beggar came to Jungwoo and asked for a food but he ignored them.

"Kiddo..." I called to the beggar and gave him some food.

"Go on. Eat." I comforted the beggar and smiled at him brightly. He thanked me and walked away.

I looked at the two who's looking at me weirdly. I raised my eyebrows asking why they're looking at me like that.

"Man! You're so kind." Lucas complimented and tap my arms lightly. I looked at Jungwoo and he smiled at me brightly or admiringly? Nevermind.

Anyways, we walked towards the uni while eating the skewers. We talked a lot about school and went to the dorm to do assignments.

I called Jaehyun immediately when we got to the dorm. He answered it with a big smile plastered on his face. I miss him.

"I went to your parents just now and they asked about you. I told them you're doing fine, just tired from getting a lot of homeworks." He told me. I smiled at him. I miss him so bad.

"We just got here at the dorm. We bought some materials from a bookstore." I told him and he smiled at me.

"Have you eaten?" He asked me and I nodded.

"We ate skewers on our way back. Have you eaten?" I asked him while I prepare my things before doing my assignments.

"Yes. I ate with your parents, dad and mom." He told me and I looked at him getting ready for bed.

Why does it feel like I am a husband working abroad and he's my wife taking good care of his in-laws? My heart melted from the thought.

"You won't study?" I asked him. He looked at me.

"Nope. We have an event tomorrow. There will be visitors so there's no need to study." He answered me and wore his white thin shirt.

"Hey. Is that mine?" I asked him because it looks like mine. He chuckled and nodded.
