Sweet Pea woke up, looking at his phone. 10 AM. He got up to get ready, drinking a cup of instant coffee and brushing his teeth. He took a shower and proceeded to get dressed. He slipped on a grey shirt, loose, black jeans, and put on his black combat boots. He ran some mousse through his black hair. He was lucky enough to have good hair and was able to do the bare minimum with it. He slid his rings on his fingers and a single dog tag on his neck. He was about to leave, and walked back in for his Serpent jacket, sliding it on and fixing it before he left to see the new girl.
Inside the trailer, Cindy was still asleep. Her slumber was disrupted by the loud knocking on the door. She picked up her phone to check the time: 11 AM. She groaned and was upset about waking up before midday. She tried to ignore the knocking until she became annoyed.
"Shut up!" the girl yelled, making her way to the door. She took her hair out of the bun she had and opened the door.
"And who the hell are you?" the brunette asked, her eyes adjusting to the scene as she rubbed them awake. She took a look at who it was: the boy from last night.
"Good morning to you too," he said with a chuckle. The girl rolled her eyes, and scanned the boy from up close, noting the rings on his hands, his muscular figure, the dog tag hanging from his neck. She looked at his face, everything seeming perfect, along with his raven hair. She leaned to her right, finally seeing his tattoo: A snake.
"You can't get enough of me, can you?" he says, a smirk on his lips.
"You wish," Cindy says, snapping out of her trance. "The girl who ran out of your trailer yesterday definitely couldn't get enough of you."
Sweet Pea laughed, slightly upset that she remembered the events of last night. He finally got a good look at her. Her skin was tan, reminding him of caramel. Her body fit perfectly in the stain set she wore, her hair a perfect mess to him, her chocolate eyes staring at him intensely.
"You know, I'm smarter than you," Cindy said. "I know that I'm new, and I've come to the conclusion that you like to fuck girls. You want me in your bed. That's not going to happen today, or ever."
Sweet Pea was quick to reply. "Who said I wanted you?" he chuckled. "I'm here to introduce myself to you, to make you feel at home."
Cindy laughed. "I highly doubt it, you haven't even introduced yourself."
Sweet Pea extended his hand towards Cindy. "I'm Sweet Pea, your neighbor."
Cindy covered her mouth, stifling giggles. "Ridiculous, I'm calling you Sweets."
Her hand met his, her fingers touching the cool rings, her hand being much smaller than his.
"I'm Cindy. Cindy Castellanos."
Cindy was the first to let go of the handshake and crossed her arms over her chest.
"So, what are you doing here on the Southside? You seem like a Northsider." Sweet Pea comments.
Cindy rolled her eyes. "I'm not a Northsider. I'm not from the area."
Sweet Pea fixed his posture, making him seem taller to Cindy. "Well then, welcome to the Southside."
"Thanks," Cindy replied. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I've got more important things to do." Cindy was ready to leave this conversation, his looks tempting to the girl, but she knew better. Without a reply, she closed the door on him. She sighed and proceeded to get ready for the day. After showering, she slipped on a short wrap dress and decided to do her makeup. She always gravitated towards a natural look, since her looks didn't need too much help. Cindy put on a pair of white high-top Converse and took her phone with her.
