Chapter 2

Tris' s P.O.V

          Once I reach the parking lot in the Dauntless section, I start to grab a box, only to stop to take in the view.

          The dauntless section is right next to a gigantic lake that has a lot of decks with lots of boats to rent from. Also a bunch suround the lake. I cross my arms and look at some of the buildings. The two tallest buildings I guess is where the girls and boys dorms, which live on the bank of the sand. Then their were regular 5-7 buildings scattered  all over the place with the classes. Then I see a couple resteraunts here and there, some food stands, and a karaoke place. I smile and see a bunch of people around either settling into their dorms or having people talking with them and going everywhere. I leave my car where it is and take my schedule with me.
          I enter the girls dorm building and walk up to the desk. I see a middle aged woman shuffling around her desk. Once I walk up she looks up from what she's doing.

"Hi. My name is Tori. What can I do for you?" she asks.

"Hi. I'm a freshmen here-"

"Ah don't say anymore. Here," she hands me a paper and a pen to sign.

"Let me see your schedule." I hand it to her.

"Alright. I'll be right back." She goes into a room behind the desk. While she's gone I sign the paper, for it saying all the stuff about the dorms and all the responsibilities that go with it. Once I finish signing all the papers, Tori comes back with my schedule and a key.

"Looks like you'll be in my art and music class." She hands me back my schedule and hands the key she was holding.

"Your in dorm room 10 on the 6th floor. If you have any questions, just come to me."

"Thanks." and I smile and she returns the favor.

I walk back to the jeep and I see Four and his group outside the boys dorms. I try and hurry to my car to not be noticed, but I'm too late. He waves to me and his group turns around to look at me. I pull my shades down, pull my beanie over my head and speed walk to my jeep. As I start unloading the boxes, I see out of the corner of my eye, Four says something to his friends I can't catch. He waves them good-bye and jogs over to me.

"Hey."

"Hi." I turn away so he doesn't see me blush.

"Do you need help unloading?" He asks. I don't want to be rude so I respond, "Umm... sure?" I ask it more like a question, but he takes it as an answer.

We reach my dorm door, setting down the last of the boxes right by it.

"Thanks for helping." I say giving him a shy smile and look down at my toes.

"No problem." He says. "I'll see you around." He waves good-bye to me. Once he's out of my site, I sigh and sit against the wall and put my knees to my face, and look at the celing. Sometimes I can just be such a idiot around guys and I can't explain why. I still have to unpack and it's almost time for dinner. I take the key out of my pocket and turn in in the locket. I grab one of the boxes and as I walk in, I bump into a tall girl with mocha skin. The box falls to the floor, and before I can say sorry and pick the box up, she rambles really fast, that I almost can't hear what she's saying.

"Oh my god! I am so sorry! I can be such a clutz. I didn't see where I was going." She helps me up and hands me the box.

"My names Christina. Were you moving in?" She looks at the boxes out in the hallway.

"Umm yeah. My names Tris." She shakes my hand

"Nice to meet you. Here I'll help you." She takes a box and leads me into the dorm.

Dorm is an understatement for how huge this is. It has a living room, which has a door that leads to a balcony, a dining room, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. Christina leads me to one of them and sets down the box on a bed.

"You can have this one." I nod and set my box next to the bed.

20 minutes later I finish unpacking. Christina shrieked when she saw how little my wardrobe was. She promised me tomorrow we would go shopping after our classes. I groan at this and all she does is laugh. Once we finish, she drags me out to a diner for dinner.

Hi peoples! So this got cut off when I published and I have no clue why. The first time I published this, it was longer, but I will write the rest of that in another chapter, which I hope I can publish today. Any who, thanks for reading it, and I hope to expect feed back.
