"No! Don't leave me Stefan!"

"I don't want to see you, I don't want to be with you. I'm done. Goodbye Elena." He flashes out of my window. I slide down the wall then I take out my phone. I scroll for his number.

"Damon?" I croak.

"Elena what's wrong?"

"Can I come over?"

"Of course. What's happening? You sound awful. Are you okay?"

"Damon relax, I'll explain when I get there." I grab my keys then I head over to the boarding house. The sky opens up and begins pouring rain. When I arrive in less than 10 minutes, Damon's outside waiting for me.

"Elena, what's going on?"

"Let's just get inside." I look up at him. He looks down at me with concern in his blue orbs. Something takes complete control inside of me, making me kiss him. He looks down at me, confusion written all over his gorgeous face. The rain beats down on us as I drag him inside. As we drip on the hardwood, I reach up and kiss him again.

"I need a friend right now." He immediately gets my hint. Lifting me up on his body, he kisses me, his mouth fiery against mine. He moves down my neck roughly, making a sigh pass my lips. "Thank you." I say between kisses. "No, thank you." He flashes us in his room.

"Thanks to you I get have sex with one sexy as hell Elena Gilbert and piss off my brother at the same time." I laugh then I lift my shirt up and over my head. He stares at me, his eyes glazing over with lust.

"God, you're so beautiful." He kisses me hungrily, attacking my mouth fiercely. I have to say even though I'm upset, the whole bad boy aura of Damon really turns me on. By the time I'm done with my thought Damon has his shirt off. We continue this until we're fully stripped.

Here goes nothing... I think to myself.

The next morning...

I jerk awake in unexpected surroundings. I run my fingers through my messy hair then I look over. I look down then I smile a little before sighing, recalling incredible memories from last night's tryst. Damon flips around, still fast asleep. I poke him, effectively waking him up.

"Hey." He mumbles groggily.

"Hi." He pulls me back down so I'm laying on the bed, causing me to giggle slightly.

"Damon." He kisses my neck softly, then looks up at me innocently. "Yes Elena?" He stares down at me with his bright blue crystal eyes, and he smirks at me cockily. I regret the words I'm about to say even though I know it's the right thing to do. "This can never happen again." He pouts. "Why not?"

"Because I was upset and mad at Stefan. I wanted to feel something other than heartbreak." He looks at me with concern. "What happened?"

"He left. He told me that he didn't want me anymore and that he was done."

"Elena, I'm sorry..."

"It doesn't matter. This was a mistake." He rolls his eyes then sits up. "Then maybe we should keep making mistakes."

"Damon, the thing about mistakes is that we should learn from them."

"Well there's the possibility that I don't want to learn from my mistakes. I want to make bigger ones."

"Damon, we can't be together. I don't want to risk myself right now." He chuckles. "Ah... Sweet, innocent, Elena Gilbert." He smirks at me. "I don't want to be your boyfriend. I want us to be friends with benefits. Because I'd really rather not be your rebound." I open my mouth to argue then I close it, knowing he's right. I stare at him and he smiles at me.
