Chris Salih slammed his drum stick onto the snare; ending the song amazingly. Tyler Joseph stood up from the piano and clapped. Nick Thomas put his base down and ran over to Chris; hugging him as tightly as a happy bear. Tyler continued to applaud.

"I've never seen you do so well on the drums Chris." Tyler said; smiling. "I think the band is going to do great in the future."

"Yeah Chris!" Nick added. "That was awesome!"

Chris smiled at the two boys.

"Thanks guys." He said. "I appreciate it a lot."

He looked down to the ground; frowning. Tyler didn't see, but Nick did. Chris walked out of the studio, still with the frown looking down to the ground. Nick needed to know why he was so upset. So he followed him.

Chris went outside of the building. Nick managed to catch up to him.

"Yo Chris!" He said; catching up to him. "What's wrong?"

Chris trusted Nick more than he trusted Tyler. He turned to him, still frowning.

"I'm quitting." He said. "I'm quitting twenty one pilots."

Nick's jaw dropped when he heard what Chris said. It was like glass had broken to the floor and blood was spilling from it. Not quite really. But it was horrible.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"It's not worth it, to sing about preventing suicide." Chris said. "I understand what Tyler is trying to do, but I don't think it's right."

"We've helped people! We've saved people!" Nick shouted.

"Tyler is stupid and shouldn't do this!" Chris yelled. "I don't want any part in it."

"Neither do I!"

Chris and Nick crossed their arms while standing back to back. Chris hated what he was doing. And Nick agreed because Chris was his best friend. They wanted to do something better that had no part in suicide. They knew quitting was a better option.

During the whole thing, Tyler overheard. When he learned that Nick wanted to leave with Chris, he was heartbroken.
