Chapter 17

Liam's POV

"SAY YES ALREADY!" Larry shouts while giggling.

"Yes Lou! I'll marry you!" El squeals.

Louis' face looks relieve and he jumps up hugging her. We all let out a relived sigh. That took a lot of planning! We had to make sure there wasn't many people at the park, had to get the food ready, make sure Louis didn't pass out, and keep El distracted.

I look at Danni. I talked to her about River's little girl Jay. They couldn't find any family members to give her to. Danni and I are going to pick her up today. Danni and I decided to tell everyone once we're at the hotel. I still love Larry a lot, but he I think he needs someone else to hang out who's his own age.

We all congratulate Louis and El and walk to the car. We all go back to the hotel where Danni and I are going to talk to everyone. We get to the hotel and go to our rooms. Everyone sits around the kitchen table and has a chat. Before I can say something, there's a knock at the door.

I sigh and jog over to the door. I open it to find a very happy Tyler. We all decided we wanted Tyler in our lives, so we're going to tell him the truth about Larry. We asked him to move with us to London, but he said he had to talk to his room mate about it.

"I can go! My room mate Korey is coming with me! So, what did you want to talk to me about?" he asks walking in.

"Well, join the others into the kitchen. Danni and I have an announcement to make as well, and then we'll tell you the full story," I say.

He looks at me weird but nods. He walks into the kitchen where I hear yells of joy. I jog back and stand next to Danni. I clear my throat. Everyone looks at us with wondering eyes.

"As you all know, River had a little girl named Jay. Since no one was able to be contacted to get her, Danni and I decided to adopt her," I say.

"Can you tell us a little bit about her?" Niall asks.

I nod. I take out two pieces of paper from my pocket. One of them is a police report of her and the other one is a copy of her birth certificate.

"Her full name is Janelle Rosalie Thompson. I know she prefers the name Jay. She's 7 years old and her birthday is July 31st. same as Larry's," I say.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, who in the name of Doritos is Larry?" Tyler asks.

"Me!" Larry pipes up.

He looks at Louis and Harry. He faints then regains consciousness. Hmm...maybe it would have been a good idea to tell him about Larry first.

"Lou, Harry, can you tell him the story. Danni and I are gonna go get Jay," I say.

"I WANNA COME!" Larry screams.

I chuckle at him and nod. We leave while Louis and Harry start the story. Everyone else is listening to it along with Tyler. We get into the car and drive to the foster home Jay is at. Larry impatiently waits. Once we get there, Larry jumps out of the car and waits for me and Danni. It amazes me how he has a broken leg and still jump with that leg.

"It's like he's more excited than us," Danni chuckles.

"I know right," I chuckle back.

We walk inside the home with Larry right on our heels. A lady shows us to the living where Jay is sitting there. Larry smiles at me and that at Jay. She twiddles her thumbs while looking at me. She has a pair of jeans on with a black loose t-shirt. Her brown hair is down and straight. She could pull off as my real daughter. Danni and I walk up to her.

"Hey Jay, I'm Liam and this is my girlfriend Danni. How are you," I ask.

She doesn't say anything. She just stares at me.
