Chapter 6 ( weekend )

(Elena's POV)

I woke to my phone buzzing. I didn't want to wake up, i wanted to stay all day in my bed since today is Saturday. I sat up on my bed slowly adjusting my sight to tge sunlight through my window. Once i can already see my sorroundings, i picked up my phone then saw a text message from Damon. I almost forgot when we asked for each other's phone number. I read his text message then immediately blushed due to what he said.

D: hey beautiful, sleep well?😊

E: yeah, until you woke me up. 😴

D: oh i'm sorry, just wanted to ask you if you wanna maybe wanna hang out at my place today. If you're free.

E: i don't know i'm pretty expensive😂😁

D: funny. But really though if you want to i'm right here at the Salvatore boarding house. Luv u😘

Omg. Did Damon really said he loved me? Over a text? Ahhhh i can't believe, and my weekend's just starting.

E: luv u t😚

I closed my phone  then went to the batroom to get ready. Guess my plan of staying in bed all day is resceduled, but for something better. At least i get to spend it with my boyfriend.

(Damon's POV)

I walked my way downstairs humming. I can't think of any other way of telling Elena that i'm a vampire. Although i'm planning on telling her now. So far she seems happy being with me but i don't know for how long. I don't think she's ready to know. Or maybe i'm just not ready to tell her. I'm a coward, what is she doing to me?

I was so deep in thought that i didn't almost notice Stefan walking up to me then bumped to my shoulder. "Hey, looks like somebody's not in a good mood" he stopped walking but still didn't turn around to look at me. "Whats wrong Stefan?" I asked confilused of whats bothering him. "You. Your whats wrong. I love Caroline okay. And i'm not sure how i'm gonna be able to show her that with you in town. I don't want her life to be dangerous because of me" he snapped out.

"And your point is....?" I asked still confused "are you gonna hurt Elena?" "What? No" "then whats your reason of being with her. I know you meant no good Damon. And i do not want you to hurt Caroline's best friend" at the moment he said that all the rage inside me just somehow popped out. I grabbef him by the troath then vampire sped him to the nearest wall. "And what makes you think i will hurt her huh? Tell me!!" I was practically shouting at this moment. "Well isn't it obvious, she's a dead ringer for Katherine. You just want her for revenge. You want me to feel the pain you felt when Katherine chose me over you" i can't take it anymore. "ENOUGH!! Stefan. All the girls can choose you over me for all i care but i love Elena ok? And don't you dare bring her into this" i snapped out at him almost breaking his troath. "Look at you Damon, choaking your own brother? Who knows what you'll do to Elena. If you really love her then you would change for her"

I looked at the floor. I didn't know what to think anymore. Stefan was right if i did love Elena i'd change for her. But i did trully love her. Amf i'd do everything to give her the life she deserves, with or without me. I slowly release my hand from Stefan's troath. He started to move away but before he could he could walk away, i grabbed him by his shirt collar. "If you ever talk about Elena like that in front of me again. Things are bound to get really really messy" i warned him while giving him my most serious look. As if looks could kill he would've been dead by now. Just then i heard the someone knocking at out door. "I guess that's my cue to leave" Stefan said then vampire sped to his room. I walked to the door as someone knocked again. I oppened it only to be greeted by the most beautiful sight there is. Elena.

(Elena's POV)

I arrived at the boarding house with Damon allowing me in. Wow this place is really huge, most of the furniture is looking antique and i loved it. Although I could have sworn i heard him with somebody here talking. "Are you the only one home Damon?" "Uhh yeah, just me" he smirked. I smiled.then slowly leaned in to steal a kiss. The kiss lasted longer the expected and i liked it, Damon was a pretty good kisser. I pulled back from the kiss and he pouted, i giggled at his reaction "sooo any reason why you wanted me to hang out with you today" i asked as he led me to the couch. I sat down beside him as we got closer then soon cuddled. "Could be that i just want to hang out with my beautiful girlfriend" did he just say his beautiful girlfriend. I blushed at his words. "I cuddled closer "could be. But is that tge only reason why" i looked at him and he seemed to be deep in thought. "Umm actually i wanted to talk to you about something" he said as he tooky hand in his. I played with his ring which i thought was really pretty and very fit for Damon. "And what is that?" I asked him still playolimg with his ring. "You need to promise me you wont freak out okay?"

Freak out? Why would i freak out? Okay things are really starting to get creepy here but i just focused ob how close i was with him right. "Okay" i said calmly. He held my shoulder then pulled us apart so could look at me. I was starting to get worried. "Damon you can tell me anything" I assured him hoping it he would now tell me whatever he wanted to tell me. The look in his eyes was full of mixed emotions. Such as nervous, worry, sadness and of course love. I cupped his face with my hands as i leaned in to kiss his forehead down to his nose and finally to his lips.
