Yesterday was amazing. Well first it started off with Stefan warning me about Damon, which was kind of weird actually. I don't know maybe Stefan is just really mad at Damon or... i don't know, Damon is really a mystery. And i like that about him, somehow he's not like the other guys. That's not all that happened yesterday. Meanwhile talking with each other, Caroline invited me to go to the restroom with her. I didn't know at first why but then he started sating impatiently "ok spill" whatever that meant. Then i realize that she was talking about my feelings for Damon. Damn she knows everything about everyone. Then she told me that she got Damon to confess that he likes me. I was like OMG!!! Is this really happening? Then i went out of the grill to clear me head but then he found me then started talking. I swear i heard my heart beating out of my chest. Then we confessed to each other then we kissed. I know, it's not lime your typicall love story but who cares? I love him and he loves me. But Stefan had to come and ruin everything. Damon had to leave due to important matters though. I guess that's all for now.

I closed my diary then kept it under my pillow. I got up from my window seat then went to my bathroom to take a shower. I had to get ready for school since it's just tuesday. I went out of the bathroom then went straight to my closet to pick out my clothes. I finally finished picking out my clothes. It was just my above knee red dress accompanied by my white leather jacket with some black heel boots. I ironed my hair then did my make-up. I went downstairs to have a slight breakfast.
As i was just about to grab my bag and car keys Jeremy started calling out to me. "Uhh Elena, do you have your own ride today?" Jeremy asked congused while staring out the window. "What? No, i thought we were going together" i answered also confused. I head my way to the front door, oppened it and to my supries i did have my own ride. There he was, the one and only Damon Salvatore standing against a blue Camaro that trully amazed me. "Need a ride, princess?" Damon called out giving me an award winning smirk. I blushed at the word 'princess' and i'm pretty sure he noticed causing hi smirk to grow wider. "Don't mind if i do" i answered. I didn't even bother saying goodbye to Jeremy and Jenna 'cause im sure they got the message. I walked my way to Damon then stopped just a feet infront of him. "What can't go any closer" Damon challenged, i know he's just messing around because of the kiss that happened yesterday. I went closer and just as i wished he grabbed me by the waist then pulled me to a sweet kiss. I didn't responed to it for about 5 seconds due to shockness but eventually kissed back.
He pulled away and i pouted at him. "Oh come on i only stopped 'cause maybe any of the people inside your house might go out without warning, we wouldn't want to give them a show now would we?" He asked staring right into my eyes. "Y-ye-s" i stuttered. He chuckled "no need to be nervous around me princess, i wont bite... well unless you want me too" . I smack his chest playfully due to his side comment. He gave me a pwck on the lips before oppening my door. I gladly stepped in then our ride began. He dropped me to school but before i could get out of my seat he oulled my wrist pulling me into a chaste kiss. It lasted just about 5 seconds but then i leaned in again and made it last longer. "What was that for?" He asked with a smirk. "To last you through the day" i was confident around him now since it was already obvious enough that we were dating.
(Damon's POV)
Are we dating now? I keep asking myself as i head back to the boarding house. I went straight up to my room then flopped down to my king size bed, repeating the questions around my head. Then suddenly a thougt popped in my mind. 'Compell, vervain, Elena... i gotta get Elena vervain' and i have the perfect idea. I rushed out of my room then straight to the attic. I went throug a couple of huge boxes still nit able to find what i was looking for then i saw a smalm box laying above a stack of boxes. I grabbed it then oppened it only to find exactly what i was looking for.
It was my moms locket back in the days. She took so much care of this, that it still looked new. It was a golden locket with ruby attached to it as well as a golden bird hanging from the lace.

Thankfully, the locket was empty. Now all i have to do is fill it with vervain. I got myself a pair of gloves then went to the cellar to get some vervain. We keep it here in case we have to torture a vampire. I got some vervain then stuffed it inside the pendant. To be extra i also dipped the locket in vervain water, but only the locket not the lace so i can still hand it over to Elena. Now i'm positive that Elena will have defense against vampire compulsion.
It wad now time to pick up Elena. I put the necklace inside a cute black box then headed to my car. I drove as fast as i could to Elena's school since i couldn't wait to give her the necklace. I got there only to see a randon boy and Elena talking to each other. I suddenly feel a wave of jealousy hit me like a strong tsunami. I glared at the boy as if looks could kill. Elena then noticed then went pass him then straight to me. I hugged herthen gave her a quick kiss. She pouted then said "really?" "What?" I asked innocently. "We didn't see each other for hours and that's all i get?" Elena said still puoting, damn i literally melt whe she does that. "Well... that's not all you get" i reached into my pocket and showed her the black box. She stared at it for awhile then looked at me. "Damon what is this?", she asked smiling while looking at me. "Well it's just a little something, since you know we're basically dating now" i looked at her waiting for her reaction as i oppened the box.
Once she saw it she covered her mouth then stared at me. I picked up the necklace by it's lace from the box then hanged it in front of her. "This was my mother's. She took really good care of it so that i could give it to the girl i love and believe me Elena, i've been with many girls but i just didn't feel like giving this to any of them. I really wanted to make sure to give this to the girl i trully loved." I looked at her "and that's you Elena" she removed her hand from her mouth then hugged me like there was no tomorrow. I chuckled and she let go of me. She then gave me a passionate kiss before pulling away and say "i love you too." I smiled then cleared my throat "may i?" i asked permissiom to clasp the necklace around her neck. She noddes then turned aroumd and pulled her hair over her shoulders. I reach over then finished putting on the necklace. She turned around to face me. "Now Elena, you have to promise me never to take this necklace off okay. It means i'm here to protect you wherever you go. Okay?" She nooded "thank you for this Damon". "Your welcome"
I drove her home and can't help to put a smile on my face. Finally between me amd Stefan, i got the girl this time. Then it hit me, when am i gonna tell Elena that i'm a vampire. Will she accept me for who i am?
