Chapter 2 (brothers?)

(Damon's POV)

Great! Just great! I'm planning on getting the girl i want to want me too and suddenly out of nowhere he just pops in. And the annoying part is that it has to be my pain-in-the-ass  brother Stefan. Yeah me and him don't realy have a brotherly kind of relationship. I just can't wait to rub it on face once he sees me and Elena together. We walk over the table and finally my little brother stares at me while i take a seat next to Elena. "Hello brother smirk what a coincedence seeing you here" i say to him. Then i notice Elena and her friends looking at the both of us. "Wait... brother? You mean you're also a Salvatore?" Elena asked me curiously. "Yup that would be correct" i say to her. "You didn't tell you had a brother" the blonde said to Steafan glaring at him. "Well it's because me and Damon have been apart for awhile and didn't get inform that he was here in Mystic Falls" Stefan answered blondie while still staring at me. "Ok! Well Damon since you and Stefan already know each other meet my friends, Caroline and Bonnie" Elena said to me to ease the moment and gesturing carefully to the blond and the other one.

"Umm Elena can we please talk for a second over there and just us" Stefan invited Elena. "Why is it really that important?" Elena asked Stefan, damn i love how insecure she is. "Uh yeah... sort of just a second please" he asked again trying to convince her faster. "Ok fine" Elena said. They both walked over the corner of the grill while there's loud music, loud enough so that i can't eavesdrop on them. While waiting i just kept myself busy with Caroline keeps on asking me  questions about Stefan.

(Elena's POV)

I have no idea what's going on between Damon and Stefan, but i have a bad feeling about it. Yet that feeling just made me like Damon more because he's kinda mysterious and everything. But with Stefan, yes i have to admit he's kinda cute but he's sort of not my type. But i'm here at the corner of the grill talking to him like our lives depend on it if somebody hears us. "Ok Elena umm how did you meet Damon?" Stefan asked me eagerly. "Uhh i'm sorry but how is that your business?" I ask him. "It's not ok, but i just have to know" he said waiting for an answer. "We met on summer but after that we didn't have any communication for a long time. "We saw each other again a while ago when i visited my parent's graveyard after school" i answered him, i just wanted to go back to my seat ASAP. "Ok here's the deal ok. You need to stay away from him" he said without hesitating.

"Ok now i'm really confused... why would you want me to stay away from your brother". He hisitated for a while to answer but unfortunaitly gave in. "Umm it's just a warning Elena. But please heed my warning about staying away from Damon" he said with all his effort to convince me. "Why, what did Damon do that made him so 'bad' in your image?" I asked, i'm quite annoyed now. "It's something not worth telling you. All i know is that he's dangerous. Just please stay away from him." "I'm not gonna avoid him Stefan. If the reason is not worth telling, then maybe it's not worth believing at all" i was about to go back to my seat "But Ele-" "no Stefan, i get it you're just trying to warn me, but i don't know." I went back to my seat but Stefan stayed there in the corner for awhile.

As i walked back to my seat, i saw Caroline and Damon talking to each other. Well it's actually just Caroline talking but i can see that Damon was listening attentively. I suddenly feel a wave of jealousy rush into me, i don't know why i'm feelimg this but i'm denying that right now i am feeling jealous. No, Carolime cannot like Damon because she's obviously in love with Stefan. I know when Caroline likes someone when i see it. I take a seat next to Damon and then he said something to me.

"Why did Stefan tell you to go to a private place to tell you something?" Damon asked, but i can see it right in his face. Jealousy and worry is written all over it. "Oh nothing, he just told me something about you" i said in a bored tone "he told you to stay away from me didn't he" he said. "Umm yeah but i didn't care about his warning, i mean how bad could you possibly be" i said.

(Damon's POV)

If you only knew the truth Elena, i thougt to myself. I don't know how long i wanna keep my secret to her. I really like her but i'm not sure if she likes me too. Why is my life soooo complicated. "Uhh Damon?" Elena said snapping me out of my senses. "Uhh yeah right, umm you see Stefan and i went into a rough childhood together, we didn't actually like each other" "oh" Elena said simply. "And that's why i'm back here in Mystic Falls to make it up to him" just as  i was about to say something else blondie went invited Elena to go in the restroom with her. So now i'm worried because the blonde sorta got it out of me that i lije Elena and now i'm left here with all weird Bon - bon.

(Elena's POV)

I'm here in the restroom with Caroline. "Ok so spill" she said suprising me. "What" i asked her, not knowing her deal. "Oh don't hide it Elena i know you feel something for him" Caroline said impatiently wairing for my answer. "I don't understand Caroline, i feel something for who exactly?" "Hello, do i need to spell it out for you: clears troath

"Roses are red
Violets are blue
You like Damon
And he likes you too"

"Wow Caroline you actually think that?" I ask her. I was quite shock with her answer but i can't help but put a smile on my face. "I know it Elena, i sorta got it out on Damon a while ago while you were talking to Stefan" Caroline said and i stood there in shock. "What!!? Did you realy just ask him that?" I asked her. "No not just like that, you know i have my ways" she said while combing her hair in her fingers. I stood there looking at here saying nothing. "Oh come on Elena, you could at least say thank you" "a thank you?" "Your welcome" she said and i rolled my eyes. "Ok Caroline, your turn to spill, why are you doing this" i asked her, 'cause it's obvious, she wouldn't do something like this without asking somethimg in return. "Ok Elena, here's my deal. I really like Stefan and i was wondering tha-" i already knew her answer. "That since you got Damon to confess his feelings about me, i should do the same to Stefan about you?" I said interrupting her. "Yes!!! You see i knew we would get along, thanks friend" she patred my shoulder than went out of the restroom leaving me there. I can sense that things are really starting to go 'Caroline'.
