(Elena's POV)

Dear Diary,

          Remember how i told about the man i met in the middle road, Damon? Well he promised me that we will meet again. I tried not to get my hopes up but failed miserably. It's now the first day of school, what a bummer. I still haven't told anyone yet about Damon, even it i really want to i just can't, like something is stoping me from doing it. Well it's time for school.

First day of school and i don't know how to feel about it. Either excited because i'm gonna see my friends again or nervous because i know that many people will keep asking me how i've been, how am i, and telling me to move on with my life. I still can't believe that my parents died in that stupid car accident. Somehow i blame myself for it but today is gonna be my day. I'm not gonna be that sad little girl who lost her parents. I will fresh, be someone new.

I arrived at school and while me and my friend Bonnie was walking along the hallway we came across this man that bonnie thought has a nice back. And also i noticed that Caroline's eyes was all over him. But still i payed no attention to him. He was staring at me the whole class, since when was staring cute, i thought to myself. Finally class ended i headed straight out of school and toy parent's grave. I know what am i foing in here? Well if you must know i come here all the time to write somethimg in my journal. Somehow being here just reminds me that even if their already dead, their still there for me. While i was writing my journal a crow got my attention. He keeps on making noises that kinda creeped me out. Somehow i thought in my mind pop in that said i had to get out of here.

I tried to gather all my courage to stay seated in my place but of course failed. I stood up and tried shoving away the crow with my journal "shoo" i said. But then fog started to sorround me. Now i was truly scared. I picked up my bag and started running for my life. I ran and ran and slowed down when i hit my leg with something. I ignored it and kept on running. Suddenly out of nowhere i bumped into something or should i say someone.

"Oh sorry, i wasn't looking whe-" i paused due to the familliar pair blue eyes i saw. "Damon?" I asked the one i bumped into. He smiled "Kat- wait, Elena?" I nod my head, i laughed at the thought that he still think i was this Katherine girl. "Wow for a second there i thought you were gonna bail on your promise" i said jokingly to him. " yeah and... what another strange place for us to meet again" he smirked. God, i love that smirk. And also those blue eyes, i swear you can just get lost into those eyes. "Earth to Elena" he snapped me out of my thoughts. "I'm sorry is my handsomeness to much for you to handle" he said teasingly with of course a smirk. I smack his chest playfully "what? No" i answered him. Then i noticed that he was sniffing like there was something that smeled. He then asked me "did you hurt yourself, Elena?". "Umm.. i'm not sure, hold on" i place my feet on top of a boulder and lifted up my jeans. Shoot i'm bleeding i was so into me and Damon's conversation that i completely forgot about this. "Ohh will you look at that" i said trying to hide the pain. I saw Damon turn his back from me, i was concerned maybe he was afraid of blood. "Hey you okay?" I ask him. He turned around and said "yeah why, shouldn't i be the one asking you that?", he said smiling with still a hint of smirk.

I smiled at him, i was about to talk to him more but then i heard my phone ringing. Aunt Jenna was calling me, telling me that i had to go home. With a slight hesitation i said goodbye to Damon and headed out the cemetery.

I was getting ready to mett Caroline and Bonnie at the grill. As i was about to finish i heard a knock at our door and aunt Jenna told me to open it. I went downstairs to open it and when i did i found myself staring again into tjose ocean blue eyes. I was completely unaware that he would visit. "Umm you left this at the cemetry" he said as he handed me my journal. "Oh thank you" i said , i looked down at my journal then back to him. "Oh and don't worry i didn't read any of it" he said, and a smile creeped unto my face. I can't believe he thought i accused him. "Oh it's not lime that really, but i don't know what i'd do if anyone did read this" i said to him "yeah i live with my brother who also has one and he wouldn't want me to read his sooo" he trailed off. "Umm Damon would like to come at the grill with me, i'm meeting eith a few friends" i invited him. He thought about it for a whilethe said "yeah sure, i would love to" he said. "O okay let me just put this inside" i gestured to my journal. I went in my house and i thought Damon would follow after but i seemed like something was stopping him. "You can come in" i said to him. "Umm i think i'll stay right here" he said. I quickly grabbed my jacket and head out with Damon. And little did i know that he brought his car. We drove together to the grill.

Once we arrived there, he pulled  over. He went out of the car then in a second he was oppening my door. Wow he's fast i thought to myself. We went into grill and i spotted directly Caroline and Bonnie with... Stefan? Well i guess Caroline invited him, i knew she liked him. But then i felt Damon turn stiff when he saw Stefan.
