Where You Grow

Home is not necessarily where you are born,
The spot where you normally hang out,
Or where your family is at,
Home is a place you make for yourself because it is not just a place you call home.

It is the place where you get your accent,
Your walk and your talk,
It's where you learn to fight and carry yourself.
It doesn't have to be where your parents are from.

It is the environment you are raised and spend the best part of your life in,
But no it can not replace the place where you were born,
And it is not something that some take lightly,
It doesn't have to be a place to call home.

But it can be a place you grow to call home.
