Sweet Smile

When we were in school,
I had always admired you,
But the one thing I loved the most,
Was that sweet smile.

But in our years of school I never had the courage to talk to you!
But as we neared the end of our high school days,
I saw you with someone else..
All these years I thought about those sweet smiles you gave to me.

Only to find out I wasn't the only one you looked at!?
I thought those glances meant something!!
Now I find out that it meant nothing?!
I had a plan for us darling.

Now I'll have to speed it up just a bit.
The room downstairs is almost ready for you dear,
I can make it nice and bright!
But if you try to get away.

I can always take away the light.

It was graduation night and everyone was at that party,
Including you and I.
It didn't take much to get you away from your friends,
All it took was a few drinks.

No one even noticed that we left!
It took a few days before you even woke up,
I guess I gave you a bit to much..
But when I looked through the glass you seemed afraid...

So darling why don't you look at me?
When we were in public we always made eye contact,
So now that we are alone,
You won't look at me anymore?

Darling the dark won't hurt you!
So why won't you just give me that sweet smile one more time?
