It was the core three! Jughead, Veronica and I always hung out all the time. I was happy to have both of them by my side as I went through the Archie drama. It seemed like everyday something was falling out of my locker, reminding me of what had happened that night. You'd think he would've gotten over me quickly, but he didn't. If you thought he was harassing me only through pictures, you thought wrong.

Buzz! Buzz!

I yawned as I picked up my phone. "I'm awake?"

Veronica giggled over the phone. "Come out, Jughead and I are waiting for you." She said as I hurriedly got dressed.

Once I got outside, we headed towards school. "Do I really have to go? Can we skip?" I asked, making the both of them laugh.

"I would for a burger." Jughead joked, looking over at me. "Maybe we could all go to Pop's? It's early enough." I suggested with a smile.

Rerouting, we went towards Pop's, hungry since none of us had eaten breakfast. "Betty, I haven't asked in a while, but is everything okay?"

"You asked me like yesterday Veronica, and yeah I'm fine. I'm about used to what he does to me." I told them as they both looked down, probably feeling sorry for me.

"It's okay, don't feel bad for me. Not like anyone cares anyways." I reassured them while Veronica sipped on her milkshake.

"You shouldn't be 'used to it' Betty, it's a problem...you need to stop him." I nodded, agreeing to what Jughead was telling me.

"But I don't know how." Jughead and Veronica both exchanged a glance before looking back at me.

We continued to eat in silence the rest of the time we sat in the diner. I checked the time, telling them that it was almost time before the bell rang.

I didn't want to walk through those school doors of Riverdale High, but I had to in order to graduate, go to college, and move the hell out of Riverdale.

Veronica went off to her first period, leaving me and Jughead walking to my locker. As usual, some of my photos fell out my locker that they slipped in there.

Jughead took the pictures out of my hand, throwing them in the trash. "You don't need a reminder of them, so what's the point in keeping them."

He was right...what was the point in keeping them? Evidence? Another reminder that Archie's picture taking still stands with me throughout my entire life?

Before I could even respond, I heard Archie coming towards my way. I hurriedly got my stuff out of my locker, heading the opposite direction of him. Jughead followed me as I ran quickly away from Archie and his crew.

"Why are you running?" I shook my head, not wanting to tell him.

"I'll tell you later." I lied as I went to first period, leaving him in the hall.

"Betty, you have to tell us. What are we missing?" Veronica and Jughead kept trying to get me to tell them what else was going on.

"I know you two walk with me to my locker all the time, but when you leave before I actually get there, he does things to me..."

Flashback:

Veronica and Jughead headed to first period as I walked towards my locker.

I heard him, inching closer towards me. "Hey Betty." He pinned me against my locker as I struggled to get out of his grip.

"Let me go Archie." I told him angrily as a devil's smirk appeared on his lips.

"Now why would I do that?" I rolled my eyes at him as he grabbed my ass firmly.

"I'll see you later ponytail." Archie finally let me go, and I walked off to first period as if nothing happened

Flashback over

I felt Jughead place his hand on my thigh, comforting me a bit.

"Jughead...that's why I ran." I said softly to him.

Veronica looked at me, tears forming in her eyes. "B, why didn't you tell us sooner?"

"Because I was afraid...I thought he'd find out I told you guys since he knows you two are the closest people to me."

"He's not gonna hurt you anymore." Jughead reassured me, looking into my eyes.

"Yeah, we're going with you. Nobody's gonna hurt my best friend like that." Veronica said and I gave her a smile.

"At least you guys understand...I just wish I'd never dated him in the first place." They both nodded, making me laugh.

"Everybody makes mistakes." I heard Jughead say to me.

"Yeah, a big one. I just need to ignore Archie as much as I can. I don't need him in my life and I wish he never came into it."

It was the truth. Archie did all these horrible things to me, including stuff I didn't even mention towards them because it was just horrible. He treated me as if my life was some kind of game...and he won.
