KIN

First bond. First drama.

Rin's eyes began to widen as he noticed her eyes swell up with a glossy lair of tears and begin to drip down her cheek. His first thought was 'did I scare her?!' And he let go of her instantly.
A thought suddenly hit him, it was her powers. Rin had took a close examination to her documents and so therefor her abilities were probably acting up in Rin's assumption. He slowly began to feel a heavy ache in his chest. It hurt to be reminded of his background. But even so he had placed all his attention on to Kim.
He wiped away her tears gently from off her face. First he placed his hand on the top of her head, but began to stroke his hand down her hair while bringing her closer to his chest and keeping her close in a warm hug. If it was her powers that did play up, then the pain would of struck her. Rin, knowing exactly how it felt, held her in the way he wished to be held when he was going through it.
"shhhh, it's okay" he murmured gently "you don't have to apologise"
Kim without hesitation wrapped her arms around the man. He was much taller than he and so her head only reached towards his chest.. it was comforting, like her farther whenever things at school weren't great. She sniffed and a feeling of selfishness took over. She's crying. SHE is crying over what he had to live through.. and she only experienced little of his whole life...
Kim caught a grip of herself, it wasn't real. To her it was nothing more than a nightmare, Rin's fictional nightmare. She rested her chin on his chest and looked up at him with bright eyes "sorry..." she said again even though he had notified not too, a smile reached her lips before she placed her head against his chest again... only now could she feel the bruised ribs, the damaged water filled lungs; even though this was all a distant scar she felt it.
Suddenly out of nowhere " I like how loyal you are.." she stuttered " you thought things said to you.. you began to believe it yet you don't even realize your own essence" she said slowly backing off him " we will be friends Rin" she ordered. Not 'I hope we can' as they have previously made a conversation of. And she did admire that this boy had gone though something her body couldn't even handle and still managed to greet with such kindness.
The run would make sense. Everything that she had experienced now in his shoes.. she wouldn't even be able to break a smile if that were her reality.

I guess you could say she hardly knew the man, but once in someone's past everyone is revealed weather they like it or not. Kim had respect and not only would this man be a hard working colleague but someone she can eat the scars of. Now she knows what they feel like.

Rin sighed after her 100th apology and gave in. He leaned forward and rested his chin on the top of her head, still rubbing his hand up and down her back to make her feel better as much as he could "Say sorry all you need to, I guess there's no helping it"
Slowly his eyes began to grow wider and he began to lean back so he could look her in the face. That statement of hers really hit him in the heart for a second. He pressed his lips together and he let out a childish smile "Ya know what..."
He cupped her face in his hands "They broke me down for sure, but guess what that leaves me..."
He let go of her, stepped back and folded his arms.
"...a chance to build myself up. Better then I ever was"
