Not letting go of this one

Kim nodded taking instructions in clearly. What was she to do now; standing clueless she tilted her head, her eyes regained their bright and bubbly aura which was surprising she could even smile after just seeing that. But she had too.
This ability was in no way 'cool' or 'neat!' Or some sort of super amazing thing. It was long hard and mostly it drained her emotionally.. nothing like wonders people dreamed of receiving after seeing on a TV channel. Deep down wished it were a TV channel that she could just turn off.
"ah I..um" she stuttered complete bullshit with her lips moving but words not seeming to come it. Her throat was still saw and dry still as if all that trauma on her neck had been present in this reality " since we will be work colleges from now on.." she went on to say bowing her head towards the taller man who tiered above her petite size

" I hope we can see each other some time. I want to get to know you ... Rinny"
She had already seen through his past. But that was him now.. she meant it in an innocent way of course as she would enjoy a blossoming friendship out of the new face.
Rin nodded his head in agreement with her "Likewise" he adjusted his tie "Now then, I shall be on my way. Feel free to sort out your desk. If you need me contact me here" he gave her a piece of paper with his number on it. He smiled "I'm only a call away" he picked up his long coat and had swung it over his shoulders, not actually putting his arms through the sleeves.
"If you're the last one make sure to lock up after yourself" he took out a pass from out the inside pocket of his blazer "Ah, yeah. Forgot to give you this" he stepped over to her and placed it gently in her hand "As well as having your ID on the card it gives you access to restricted areas" he nodded his head and began to exit the room.
