Picture of Louis and Eleanor on the side.

"She was only trying to help you, Heather." My mother told me as we were on our way home from the councilers building, it was awful. She kept throwing questions at me that I wouldn't respond too, infact I didn't speak at all.

"I don't need the help." I spoke through clenched teeth as I placed my feet up on the dashboard, seeing her glance over at me on the corner of my eye. And it was true, I didn't need the help. I'm perfecty fine without people helping me, seriously.

"Look, I know you're upset about what happened at the family reunion. I know you were hurt, but I couldn't hide it from you anymore." She sighed, I laughed bitterly.

"You only told me because your mother forced you to, thats why you told me." She stayed silent because she knew I was right, she wanted to hide it from me. "Were you ever going to tell me anyways? I mean, if your mom never brought that up I wouldn't even know that Maddie was my daughter. Why wouldn't you tell me?" I whispered, she ignored my question as she continued driving, making me sigh.

"Hi mom!" Maddie yelled as I stepped inside the house hugging my legs, I ruffled up her hair hearing her giggle.

"Hi mads, where is everyone?" She pointed into the living room where I could hear the TV, Maddie dragging me there. Ami, Luke and Paul were all watching 'The Fault In Our Stars,' i've actually never seen this movie, I only read the book.

"Wow thanks for having fun without me." I spoke sarcastically as I plopped in the middle of Luke and Paul, Ami sitting on the opposite side of her fiancee.

"Shh, the movie is intense!" Paul whispered, I rolled my eyes bringing Maddie up on my lap before she leaned back against my chest. I heard sniffling next to me making me look over, and sure enough Luke was crying.

"Luke are you crying?" I laughed, he looked over at me rolling his eyes as he wiped them quickly.

"What? No I'm a guy, I don't cry." He scoffed, I hummed in response patting him on the head.

"No need to be embarressed buddy." He smacked my hand away continuing to watch the movie as I scrolled through my Twitter, seeing nothing good on here. I haven't seen any post from Niall lately, only pictures of him and his nephew, Theo. He was cute, and looked a lot like Niall.

"Oh, forgot to mention. Tonight Paul and I are going to a carnival, do you guys wanna go?" Ami asked Luke and I, I shrugged nodding as Maddie pouted.

"What about me mommy?" I smiled kissing her on the forehead.

"Tomorrow when I get home from school, you and I are going to get ice cream and have mommy and daughter night. How does that sound?" She nodded smiling brightly as she jumped off my lap, yelling grandma.

"You're a good mom Heather." Paul told me, I shrugged.

"I'm trying, kinda hard." He nodded patting me on the shoulder. "I'm going to get ready and dress in something more decent." They nodded besides Luke, who groaned in annoyance.

"We're going to be here for hours." I rolled my eyes going up the stairs hearing him complain until I got in my room closing the door behind me, sighing. I skimmed through my closet grabbing a pair of skinny jeans with my black jumper that had small crosses on it with my gray Vans. Good enough. I changed into the outfit before starting my hair, not bothering to apply anymore make up on.

I had my hair straightened with my bangs braided and clipped to the side. I grabbed my phone before going down the stairs, where they were waiting for me.

"Mom said she'll watch Maddie for you." I nodded looking in the kitchen seeing them eating candy. We left the house with everything we needed, getting into Ami's car. Paul was driving with Ami in the passenger seat while I sat in the back with Luke.

"And that was Little Things by Niall Horan, he actually had given us some detail about the song. A girl that he's in love with who feels self concious about herself, and-" I wasn't able to hear the rest because Ami changed the station, but I wanted to know the rest.

That song wasn't about me, was it?

"Okay Luke and Heather you guys can go walk around together than Paul and I will, I'll text you when to meet up." Luke and I nodded in agreement after we paid for our tickets.

"So, found a girlfriend yet?" I nudged Luke in the arm as he rolled his eyes, smirking.

"I've got my eyes set on someone, you don't know her." I raised an eyebrow, he said that last time and it ended up being Lola. "I think you would like her," he told me.

"Is that Luke Hemmings?" I looked over seeing a group of older men staring at us with woman all over them, Luke immediately wrapped an arm around my shoulder pulling me into his side as the men whistled. "Bring your lady over mate, you've finally settled down." I looked up at Luke who was staring at the men with anger, his jaw clenched.

"Heather, ignore them. Do not look at them, just keep walking." He demanded, suddenly pulling me with him through the crowded park, pushing past people who gave us weird glances.

"Luke what the hell is going on?" I yelled turning around, there were two men following us. "Luke their following us!" I screamed, I bumped into his back when he suddenly stopped walking. I turned around seeing that they were getting closer.

"Run, keep running until you get to the back gate. I'll meet you there soon, don't talk to anyone. Do you understand?" He demanded his blue eyes flickering behind me every second.

"Luke-" I was cut off by him pushing me behind him, telling me to run. And I did. I didn't look back, I kept running as I tried not bumping into other people before I picked up my pace, my breathing becoming heavy. I could slowly see the silver gate come into view above all of the ride lights, my heart beating through my ears. I grabbed the gate coughing loudly as I tried to catch my breath, my hair framing my face.

I leaned my back against the rattling gate, waiting for Luke to arrive. Those people don't look familiar to me, I've never seen them before. There always happens to be trouble wherever I go.

"Heather?" I turned around seeing Louis with a girl by him side, staring at me with confusion. She had long brown hair with tan skin, she was actually pretty.

"Uh hi Louis?" It came out more as a question, I have't seen him in a while, and he still looks the same only his hair has gotten a little longer.

"Oh this is Eleanor, Eleanor this is Niall's gi- this is my friend Heather." She smiled softly as I looked at Louis, who almost said I was Niall's girlfriend.

"Hi Eleanor." I smiled softly as she smiled back, shaking my hand.

"I'm going to the bathroom, I'll be right back." She whispered, Louis smiled kissing her on the forehead before she adjusted the strap on her bag walking towards the bathroom leaving me with Louis in a awkward silence between us.

"How are you?" I shrugged leaning against the fence, kicking the small pebble with my converse.

"Fine." I lied, I could hear him sigh as he shoved his hands into his black jeans.

"I know you're lying Heather, I've known you long enough." He smiled trying to lighten the mood.

"I miss him, so much Lou." I whispered looking up at him. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders as he pulled me in for a hug.

"I know, I know you do." He whispered, I let out a deep breath as I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Heather." I turned around seeing Luke standing with his hands in his jacket pocket, his eye swollen. I pulled away from Louis as he gave Luke a nod.

"Bye Louis, see you around." He smiled and nodded locking fingers with Eleanor once more, walking into the carnival. I turned my attention to Luke. "What the hell happened back there?"

"Nothing Heather, lets go have fun." He smiled, I crossed my arms raising an eyebrow. I wasn't letting this go.

"Luke." I spoke in a warning tone, he sighed running his fingers through his hair tugging on it.

"Look, when I tell you this don't run. Okay? Promise me." I nodded slowly, what is he talking about. When the words fell from his mouth, my body froze.

"I'm an assassin."
