I woke up and Chester was still sleeping. We had quite a week and he and Mike were also very busy with interviews and stuff for the new album that is being released this week. I have no idea how Piper is doing to be honest. I got out of the shower and I went to my closet to get dressed. I put on a peach dress, with a demin jacket and brown wedges. I straight my hair and put some makeup on. I left the room and went downstairs.

I went into the kitchen and Lilly was in the kitchen busy getting things out to make some breakfast. I went back to the island where she was and took the things from her hands. She looks at me confused.
"I'll take care of this." I said smiling at her.
"Emma. It's my job."
"Go have some fun today. I'll take care of things in the house today."
"You don't have to do this Emma." she says.
"I owe you Lilly. So go. Take some time off."
"What about Chester?"
"I'll take care of him. Don't you worry." I went to my purse and took out some money. I handed it to her.
"Go spoil yourself." I she putting it in her hand.
She looks at me with a surprised look on her face.
"Emma. You don't need to do this." she says.
"Yeah I do. Now go." I showed her to go and smiled at her. She smiles at me and nods.
"Thank you Emma."
"No problem." I said and she walks out of the kitchen. I put the coffee on and start making breakfast. I decided to make pancakes.
After a while I was halfway done with the pancakes and Chester comes into the kitchen. He yawns and then he stares at me.
"Is Lilly sick?" he asks.
I looked up at him and I shook my head no.
"Then why are you making breakfast?"
"I gave Lilly the day off." I said flipping the pancake.
"Why?" he asks.
"Cause I owe her for what she did. And I'm repaying her." I said shrugging my shoulders.
"Oh... I take it your not coming to the studio with me then."
"Do you need me there?"
"No... I just love having you around when we rehearse or whatever."
He comes to the back and he pours himself some coffee.
"Sorry baby. But I just feel like Lilly do so much for us and she can use some time off and away too." I said putting the last pancake in the plate.
"I don't mind. You're right."
I plate some pancakes for him and hand it to him. He smiles and I put two for me in a plate.
"Thanks baby girl." he chuckles.
"No problem." I said turning the stove off and we went to sit down at the table. He takes a bite.
"Yum." he says.
I chuckled. And ate.
"Chris called me just now."
"Yeah.."
"He got Piper a therapist. And my dad got her a place where she can stay permanently."
"That's good." I said looking down.
"They are busy with the case now. My father is investigating the place where she used to stay." he says.
I nod still looking down. He takes my hand and I looked up.
"She's doing okay baby girl. Mike took good care of her. She's moving in with the new family tomorrow."
I smile slightly and just nod.
"I better go. Will you be okay on your own?" he asks.
"Yes. I'll be fine. I think I can use some alone time. Besides I have a lot to do."
"Why don't you call Maddie or Sammy and invite them over?" he asks.
"That's not a bad idea. I'll call them later." I smiled at him.
He gets up and kissed me on the forehead.
"See you later baby girl."
I nod and he leaves. I went upstairs and called Maddie and Sammy. I invited them to come over and help me with the choirs.
After a while the intercom goes off while I was busy in the house. And I pressed the button to let Sammy and Maddie in. I opened the front door and waited for them on the porch. They get out of the car and Maddie hugs me tight.
"Mike told me what happened. Are you okay babe?"
I hugged her back and sighed.
"Not really. But I will be."
"What happened?" Sammy asks looking at us.
I showed them to come inside and I showed them what we needed to do. Sammy asks again what happened and I told her the whole story about Piper. She looks at me all shocked.
"Wow..." she says.
I just shrugged my shoulders. We continued with the choirs and a while later we were all done. Lilly comes back and she comes in. I told her to come join us in the kitchen and she comes to us. We were busy drinking the non alcoholic wine and gossiping. I hand her a glass too. We were just talking about random things. Maddie and Sammy tried to get my mind off of what happened. And it was working. I felt better after spending some time with them.
