As I went home I couldn't get my mind off her.
"Hey sweetheart dinners in the microwave" my mother said to me as she washed dishes
"Thanks ma" I say before grabbing my food out of the microwave "where's Dean?" I asked
"At his house. His dad needed to see him" she rolled her eyes and I nodded
Mom cooked spaghetti tonight. She put just the right amount I was starving.
"So, how was school? How was practice?" She asked sitting I front of me
"School was alright. Practice was fun as always" I answered stuffing my face
"Did you talk to your cousin?" She asked referring to Tamina
I scoffed "no"
"Roman Leati Reigns I told you to talk to her" she scolded me
I felt myself get goosebumps when she said my full name. She rarely calls me by my name let alone my full name.
She sighed and shook her head in disbelief.
BRIES P.O.V
"And then she fell on flat on her face" my sister laughed
She and my mom were telling Randy stories from when we were kids. Yes he stayed over after practice. My mom insisted on him staying for dinner.
"That really happened?" He wiped a few tears that were forming from laughing too hard
I rubbed my head before saying yes.
"Hey thanks for letting me stay Ms.Bella it's getting late and I have to go" Randy said grabbing his keys
"Thank you for coming over. You're welcome here anytime" my mom went up and hugged him which he gladly returned
"I'll walk you out" I say making him nod
"Bye Nikki see you tomorrow" he hugged my sister
I walked out with his to his car.
"Thank you again for taking me home" I smile up at him
"No problem. Thank you for dinner" he smiled at me
We stood there for a moment just looking at each other. It wasn't awkward or anything. Next thing he did made my heart melt. He kissed me on the cheek. His lips were so close to mine.
Oh sweet baby Jesus.
"I'll see tomorrow" he smiled
I watched as he walked to the other side of his car and getting in. I made my way back to the house feeling like I'm on cloud nine.
"I saw that!" My sister squealed once I shut the door
"JESUS Nikki what the heck" I say walking past her
"He kissed you !" She whisper yelled as I walk up the stairs
"Please shut up before mom hears" I tell her
"We are going to talk about this"
"No we're not" I say shutting my door in her face
I plopped down on my bed. I heard my phone ding.
Nikki ❤️: hey he's cute you should go for it 😉
I roll my eyes before putting my phone on the charger.
I can't believe that happened.
ROMANS P.O.V - on the phone with Seth
"I can't believe you like her" He tells me
"I know but she doesn't like me so what's the point. She probably thinks I'm some tool."
"You are" he tells me plainly
"Shut up"
Since Ambrose didn't answer I decided to go with Seth. I just needed someone to talk to about the whole Brie situation.
"You actually have feelings for someone !" He laughed
I roll my eyes "Strong feelings. She's going out with Orton though"
"Randy? He's a cool guy"
"Yeah but she's mine !" I blurt out
"No she ain't. You don't own her. Plus how do you know she's dating Randy?"
"Just look at them !" I exclaimed
"Don't assume stuff"
"Yeah but I- ughhh never mind. You and Ambrose don't understand"
"Oh I understand I've been trying to get with Paige since freshman year. Anyways be careful tomorrow"
"Why?" I ask confused
"Summer comes back"
"Fuck"
"We'll talk tomorrow k bro? Get some rest big dog"
"Night Rollins"
We say our goodnights and I hang up. My mind drifts of to Brie.
Why would she want to be with someone like me so why should I try?
