WEDNESDAY MORNING/ BRIES P.O.V

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIANNA!!!!!!"

I felt myself being shaken.

"COME ON ITS OUR BIRTHDAY!!!"

Ahhh of course our birthday. The day where Nikki decides to wake me up by jumping on my bed and scream in my ear.

I sit up groaning at the fact that it's probably 6:30 and she has this much energy.

"Finally" Nikki huffs out of breath from jumping. She plops down next to me and wraps her arms around me "happy birthday sister" she kissed my cheek like she always did

I smile and wrap an arm around her "happy birthday sister" I say back

She let go of me and got up from the bed. She walked up to my dresser and hid something behind her back

"Ok don't cry but this , is from dad" she breathed out

I was wide awake by now. It has been months since we last talked to our father.

"How how did he Uh" I stammered

"He got in touch with mom and she agreed on giving him our address. She told me that he's in a good place at the moment and he promised not to do any harm."

The only thing I could do was nod. Nikki let out a breath before handing me and envelope. We opened ours at the same time , the first thing we took out was the necklaces he gave us.

"I think I'm gonna cry" my sister stared down in awe at the necklace

"It's a locket Nik" I tell her

We open it at the same time and that's when the tears started falling.

"It's us" She sniffled

"With him" I cried

We looked at each other with tears in our eyes. We gave each other big hugs before wiping the tears away. There was a baby picture of us with our dad. My fathers smile is what brought me to tears. He truly did love us.

"He wrote us individual letters" Nikki pulled out her letter and began reading it out loud

We were both in tears after finishing both of ours. He wrote us individual personal letters. He talked about how much he misses us and all the memories we had together. He told us that he misses us so much and he loves us. He gave us both his new number which made me really happy.

"Dads doing better" Nikki smiled

"I know, we should call him later" I smiled in excitement and my sister nodded

I'm finally gonna be able to talk to my father.

"Well we can call him after school, I already know we're going to be talking to him for hours. Come on, Mom made us breakfast and ya girl is starving"

I nod my head get out of my beautiful comfy bed.

"I'll meet you downstairs nik" I rub my face

"k don't take long'' she told me before making her way downstairs

I walk into the bathroom and wash my face. After doing my business in the bathroom I make my way down to the kitchen.
