I returned home from another date with Randy. We've been talking and hanging out a lot. We stopped doing lunch together and decided to have study dates after school and sports. We didn't kiss again but he's really flirty towards me.
The thing is when I'm with him I think about Roman. Why do I fall for guys who are no good for me?
ROMAN'S P.O.V
"Roman please calm down" Tamina pushed me back but I didn't move
"If he touches her I am going to kill him"
I continue to stare out of my bedroom window looking at the one person I hate the most.
My father.
"Uce please I know it's hard but you need to stay calm" Jey says
I could hear the fear in Jey's voice. He knows I'm serious. If he ever touches my mother I will fucking kill him.
These past couple of months my mom hasn't been coming home on time. I didn't think much of it until I found out that my dad has been back here in Tampa. I have no idea why but from what I'm seeing outside, it's not good.
I watch intensely as my mother and father continue to argue. He came here unexpectedly this evening. Luckily Tamina and the twins were here helping my mom. Thankfully Dean isn't here, it would've been worst.
My mom told my cousins to lock ourselves in my room. At first I didn't know why but then I saw this guy come out of an expensive looking car.
"He needs to leave" I say not taking my eyes off of him
They have been talking for almost an hour. Then things started to escalate and they started arguing. I was about to open my mouth again until I saw my mother smack his face. He made a big mistake after that. My mother was slammed against the car and was being choked.
Fuck. No.
I pushed away my cousins who were trying to hold me back. I broke my door, kicking it down. I stormed down the stairs and ran outside. My cousins were screaming and running after me. I swung the front door open running up behind this cunt.
"ROMAN DONT" yelled Tamina
I dragged him off my mother throwing him down on the ground. I got on top of him and punched him as hard as I could.
This man has done nothing for me. He never tried contacting me, ever. You know how shitty it feels when you're own father doesn't even call to wish you happy birthday? He left us, for some other chick. He has a new family now, he left my mother behind. He left me behind.
Tears filled my eyes and ran down my face as I continued to viscously attack the man who was supposed to be my father.
Next thing I know I'm getting dragged off of my dad by the twins and our neighbors. I look and see that my father was fucked up. There is no other way to put it.
If I wasn't dragged off I probably would've killed him. Next thing I know police cars and an ambulance pulled up to our house.
Oh boy. This is gonna be a long night.
