Breaking The Wall

Lucius' POV
I was called in her office today since she texted me saying that she wanted to talk to me regarding about something so I paced back and forth as I was waiting for her. I am not the type of person who would get nervous but it's her, of fucking course I would be damn nervous. I heard the sound of the door opening, "The author is here" her secretary said. I looked up to see her, "Hi Lucius".

I gulped as she closes the door, the room is silent and only her heels clicking on the floor could be heard. She sat down in one of her pink leather chair. She looked at me with her brown orbs as she motioned for me to sit down in one of her chairs. She pulled her glasses back and sighed, "You do know the reason why you're here right?". I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, "Uhm...no? That's why you called me in here?" I answered.

"Don't you even dare to give me that damn attitude" she retorted back. She pulled out her phone and clicked on an app called Wattpad. "The book reached 18k Lucius and I am worried about something" she sighed for the second time. I stood up and sat next to her, "Hanae, you are the author. People appreciate your works."

"I know Lu, it's just that...people never give me signs or anything whether they like the book or not. I'm just scared that maybe they read the book but personally don't like the book" she whined.

The gradually hugged her from the side and said, "Hanae, the book reached 18k reads. I'm sure that the people who is reading now cares about your book." She just sighed and hugged me back.
