Y/N's POV
It's that time of the year again. People are decorating their homes with extravagant designs to truly feel the 'Christmas spirit'. I was assigned by my mother to decorate the Wagner's Christmas tree. But of course, Mrs. Wagner insisted that Lucius should help a 'pretty woman' like me.
You see, my mother and Mrs. Wagner are bestfriends since their collage days. Mrs. Wagner trusted my mom the most because they are never separated even from the start. Since they're the best of friends, they thought it would be FUN to let me and Lucius follow their footsteps of friendship (fuck no).
Back to the present, I'm having a hard time to reach the middle part of the tree since it's huge. I stood on my tip toes and extend my arms as far as I could just to decorate it with this stupid ball.
As I tried to reach to put the ball on, I suddenly lose balance and began stumbling backwards. That's when I felt someone catch my back. I looked behind to see Lucius.
Lucius catched me in no time and helped me back up. He looked up for a second and looked at me. It was a staring contest between the 2 of us for a minute or so until he pressed his lips against mine.
I felt myself tensed in his touch but grew comfortable with it. We just kissed each other for the past 2 minutes until our damn lungs need air. Fucking lungs.*
I stared at him for a little and hid my face in his chest since it was evident that I was blushing. He chuckled and wrote something in a post-it sheet. After that, he proceeded to stick the note in my forehead before pulling away from me.
Much to my dismay and confusion, I removed the note from my forehead and began to read the note:
'Mistletoe, bitch'

* I'm laughing at the 'Fucking Lungs' part without any damn reason. It just sounds stupid to say 'Fucking Lungs'😂
