You snapped your eyes wide open since you heard the noise. You swear to God that your apartment isn't haunted at all. You pray day and night everyday, you attend mass every sunday and you blessed your apartment before you moved in so what was the problem that God might be haunting you down?

Sweat trickled down your forehead as you grabbed the nearest flashlight and holy water. You carefully moved towards the door and opened it slowly while bracing for sudden impact. Crash... 
The noise is coming from the kitchen. You moved quietly that you can hear a needle drop on the tiled floor. As you approached the kitchen, you can see a man on his teens. Jet black hair while red eyes were glowing in the dark.

'He seemed to be facing sideways' you thought to yourself. As he turned to face where the source of light is coming, you threw holy water on the male. He hissed as the water was sprinkled on his arms and dropped on the floor.

As the male moaned in pain, you took the opportunity to open the lights in the kitchen to see lucius and a dead cockcroach lying on the kitchen floor.

'wHaT?'

You moved to Lucius' side and helped him get up. "OMG! I'm so so sorry Lucius! I thought it was someone else!" You apologized to him the second he laid on the couch at the living room. "i thOuGhT iT wAs soMeoNe eLsE...yeah right. The fuck would you bring holy water for instead of a bat if you knew it was someone else?" Lucius retorted back.

"Well what were you doing in my apartment at 12 AM!" You exclaimed. "First off, it's 2 AM already. Second, you know that I have a habit of visiting my best friend's apartment at midnight. Third, I was getting myself a drink when a cockroach flew right on my face!" Lucius explained.

You laughed because of the fact that he's scared of cockroach ruins his image as the son of the devil. He pouted as you laughed, he turned off the lights in the kitchen and carried you to your bedroom.

"Eventually, you need some beauty sleep since you have school at 6." Lucius muttured under his breath and tucked you in. "Before you go, promise me you'll throw the cockroach in the garbage can. Okay?" You yawned as you snuggled in your blanket.

A dark chuckle came out of Lucius' mouth as he opened your window. "I'll see you again tomorrow..." He whispered as he kissed your forehead and jumped out of the window. Soon, sleep took over your body as you drifted off to dreamland.
