Chapter 21: My First Kiss

The cool night wind kept Jennie calmed as she sit on the ground admiring the lake infront of her.

it was quiet, and the stars and the moon was enough to be the light that brightens her night.

Taking out her phone, she opens the camera and took a picture of the sky. it was something Jennie loved, is to take pictures. pictures that she could look back to.

sighing, Jennie leans down on the ground facing the sky. the stars reminded her lots of things, to her the sky is like the brain, sometimes its clear but sometimes its full of stuff.

stuff that can never be erased, like a certain thing that makes her sad most of the time.

it's her relationship with someone who she can never forget, for as long as she lives.

Flashback

"Unnie, where are we going? we should get back inside or else Eomma will worry"
Jennie says, making Jisoo stop from dragging her.

"Jendeuk-ah, please? I promise to take you home after this" Jisoo begs.

"y-you're not gonna..d-do anything b-bad to me right?" Jisoo frowns and flicks her forehead.

"Naughty Jendeuk, we're only 14! plus I can never do things like that, so just come with me and I'll take care of you" Jennie
sighs and let Jisoo drag her.

"Unnie, what is this place?" Jennie asks.

"it's my treehouse, just stay here and I'll get us something" Jisoo says climbing the tree.

"okay, I'll just stay here"
Jennie replied, rubbing her arms because of the cold night wind.

"Unnie, please hurry up It's so cold out here" Jennie says almost in a whisper.

Jisoo then came down with a two big blankets, and a bag of potato chips.

"What's that for?" Jennie asks in confusion, pointing on the blankets.

"You see that cliff over there?" Jisoo points and Jennie nods "That's where we are going, so let's go"

"Yah! Wait for me!"

"I'm e-exhausted" Jennie heaved a sigh of exhaustion and fell on her knees.

"Jendeuk-ah, stop being dramatic and cuddle here with me" Jisoo says standing up and carries Jennie.

"Yah! Put me down!" Jennie whines playfully, Jisoo laughs and settled her down on the blanket.

"Woah.." Jennie says in awe once she finally saw the beauty infront of her, sitting up she closes her eyes and waits for the wind to hit her face but instead she felt a hand snaked around her waist hugging her from behind.

"I knew you would love this place" Jisoo whispers kissing Jennie's nape.

it was the whole city, filled with lights that Jennie wished to see.

"Unnie.. why d-did you do that?" Jennie asks turning around.

"huh? what do you mean?"
Jisoo asks, moving away.

"Why would you kiss my nape while back hugging me? do friends do that?"

"Jennie look.. remember that promise that we shouldn't hide anything from each other? well.. I can't hold this back any longer.. it's just making me more and more confused than I already am"

"Unnie.. what are you trying to say?" Jennie says holding Jisoo's both hands in hers.

"Jendeuk-ah.. I think I like you.. more than friends" Jisoo says causing Jennie to let go of Jisoo's hands.

"I knew it.." Jisoo says under her breath, closing her eyes shut letting her tears stream down.

"I u-understand i-if you don't feel that w-"

"Hmmph.."

they both fell on the ground as they share a gentle and soft kiss.

"wow.." they both pant once they parted. smiling, Jennie leans down one more time to capture Jisoo's lips, giving it a soft peck.

"Is my kiss enough for you to know that I like you too?" Jennie smirks, Jisoo chuckles and pinched Jennie's cheeks.

"Hmm.. maybe a little more and maybe I'll get there?"
Jisoo smirks rubbing her hands back and forth on Jennie's back.

"Yah! You're such a perv Unnie" Jennie laughs slapping her arm.

"But you still like me right?" Jisoo laughs puckering her lips.

"In your face!" Jennie laughs and pushes Jisoo's face away before getting off her.

Jisoo smiles and sits up, hugging Jennie from behind.

"Jennie-yah..saranghaeyo"
Jisoo whispers sweetly.

"Jisoo-yah?"

"Hm?"

"I love you too".
