i: your relationship (steve rogers)

meet: captain america saves you from your abusive husband from beating you to death. you're bruised and unconscious when he rescues you in attempt to recover classified information from HYRDA through your husband. he stays with you through all of the surgeries.

first date: he walks you around the hospital and the two of you talk and laugh for hours. both of you say you're just friends but deep inside you know there is something much more involved.

first kiss/asks you out: on your last day of rehab, the doctor sends you home and steve helps you settle in your house, you thank him sincerely and he kisses you, forcing you to confront your feelings.

first "i love you's": steve takes you to visit his parents graves after you pester him to meet his parents. you feel bad for being pushy and as steve tries to make you feel better, you blurt out the three little words in attempt to apologize. he kisses you and assures you it's alright and being the dork he is, he introduces you to his parents graves causing the two of you to break into laughter eventually.

proposal/first time: your father (let's pretend he's your only living guardian) gets very sick and steve is by your side through the whole process. he asks permission to marry you and proposes in front of your father. your father dies the same night and he carries you home, bridal style. you arrive home and begin to kiss him and knowing where it's going, steve stops you and looks deep in your eyes to be sure you want to do this. he knows you need a distraction so he makes love to you but makes you promise to talk to him.

the ring:

first fight: in preparation for the wedding, the two of you fight over a prenuptial agreement. you believe there should be one, but steve being the wonderful man he is, doesn't want one. he knows he'll always love you and doesn't want to include one but following your father's death, you realize you can loose someone no matter how much you don't want to. you're more cautious than ever and steve realizes that so he gives in and allows a prenup but he's sure you get the better half of everything.

wedding

your wedding is on a slightly chilly day in april. your best friend serves as your bridesmaid and bucky is steve's groomsmen/best man. sam and tony are at peace with the decision after deciding it was steve's wedding and he deserved for his friends to respect his decision. your first dance is to the song photograph by ed sheeran which is the first song you danced to together when you could walk for the first time. your reception is held just outside the chapel (pictured).

honeymoon

steve brings you to a beautiful off-the-grid home in the hamptons, courtesy of tony. as much as you wanted to spend your honeymoon somewhere tropical, you understand steve should be as close to the city in the event that an incident broke out. you understood that steve could be away from you for long periods of time and you were willing to take as much time as you could get no matter what.

house:

steve tracked down his mother's childhood home in upstate new york that she always told him about and he decided he wanted to raise his family there. both of you knew you wanted children and you loved the idea.

life together: you and steve have two children, a boy (james carter rogers) and then a girl (samantha antonia 'toni' rogers) four years later. you work as an agent with S.H.I.E.L.D, stepping in to fill sharon's empty position since she left the company years before. interim agents have filled her place since she left years earlier. after samantha's birth, steve and you decide it's best if you stay home with kids which you're more than willing to do. once both children graduate, you decide to step back into the work force, working with the CIA where you unlikely become close friends with sharon carter. you and steve retire at the ages of 65 & 62 and decide to spend the rest of your lives together in the home you built your lives on. steve dies three years later which you later find is a result of the experiment done on him the fourties. according to specialists, his life span was shortened by the experiment from 75+ to 68 years of age. you abandon the home in order to heal from steve's passing and live with your son and his family for a while but return back to the home. you die peacefully at the age of 103 in that home and your children bury you beside steve in a cemetery in brooklyn.
