Kill Or Be Killed | Completed

Chapter 7

"Happy birthday to Brianna! Happy birthday to you!" Everyone sung in unison.

"Make a wish!" Beyoncé said excitedly.

Brianna thought for a moment then closed her eyes blowing out her candles.

A month has passed and today was Brianna's 17th birthday. Beyoncé threw a surprise party and Brianna couldn't be more happier, especially since Beyoncé invited Jacob. With the help of Jay, Beyoncé was able to get Jacob alone and they had a long talk. She could tell Jacob was genuine and that he really cared about Brianna, but she wasn't putting anything past him.

"She's growing up too fast," Jayceon said coming up to Beyoncé. She was standing off to the side watching Brianna laugh and dance with her friends.

"I know, I have no idea what I'm gonna do once she graduates," Beyoncé said. Beyoncé didn't want Brianna to leave her side but she knew one day she would have to. Brianna's dream school was Georgetown but Beyoncé hoped she changed her mind and went to a college in Cali.

"She's the only one that keeps you sane, you're gonna be terrible once she's gone," he said.

"Hopefully I'm still alive," Beyoncé mumbled, she didn't expect him to hear her but he did.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Jayceon asked.

"Promise me you'll take care of her if I'm killed," Beyoncé said facing him.

"Beyoncé what's going on? What did you do? Who's going to kill you?" Jayceon asked. He was worried because he could see that she was scared and one thing Beyoncé wasn't was scared.

"Just know I'm involved with someone I shouldn't be and it could cost me my life. I fucked up but I can't control how I feel, I don't know what to do. I deserve to be happy but, how can I be happy when I have to kill someone I could possibly love?" Beyoncé explained.

This past month she has gotten closer to Jay. If she wasn't working or with Bri, she was with Jay. She has yet to tell him that she's suppose to kill him because she'd hate to ruin their relationship and have him never speak to her again. In this short amount of time she's known Jay, he has really made her happy, and she felt like she could be herself around him, she hasn't felt this way in a long time.

"Dave's right hand man, Jay," Jayceon said after he pulled her away from everyone "Are you crazy Beyoncé? What the fuck are you thinking?"

"How?" Beyoncé asked curious as to how he knew that quick.

"Gucci's number one rule for you, kill or be killed. He's at the top of your hit list and you have yet to kill him, you never wait to kill. How did this happen?"

"He was the one that saved me when that shootout happened, the rest is history. What am I gonna do Jayce? I have 7 months."

Beyoncé didn't have a problem telling Jayceon her business because she knew he had her back 100 percent, no matter what.

"Don't tell anyone about this, not even Tommie, to be honest I don't shit either. Also if he feeling you and you feeling him, you need to tell him. If you wait too long shit will get real and he'll probably want you dead and Gucci damn sure gonna want you dead. Let me know when you tell him cause I wanna have a talk with him as well," Jayceon said. He was loyal to Gucci but his loyalty with Beyoncé overruled that any day. Also it was his job to protect Beyoncé.

"Thank you Jayce for being there for Bri and I, and for loving us. I know you have a girlfriend and you still stuck by my side no matter what," Beyoncé said hugging him.

"You were my first love, and the first woman to have my child. Even though Jayceon Jr. isn't with us today you and Bri will always be my family, and I'll always love both of you," he said hugging her back.

"I guess now that I found someone else you can try and be loyal to your girlfriend," Beyoncé chuckled.

"I might as well make things right between us. I'm getting old and she's the settle down type," Jayceon smiled.

"Well I'm gonna give Bri her last present before the sun goes down," Beyoncé said.

"Oh before you do that, I think you should go talk to Robert whenever you're free."

"Why would I need to talk to Robert for?" Beyoncé asked. He was like a father to her but she didn't understand why she needed to talk to him.

"There are something's he knows that you should know, just talk to him," Jayceon said.

After getting Brianna's last present, Beyoncé called her outside with everyone following.

"Bri I know you've been pressing me out about this so I decided it was finally time to get it for you," Beyoncé smiled then Tommie pulled up in Audi RS7.

Tommie then got out and threw the keys at Bri "Happy Birthday beautiful."

"No way, Bey you didn't, I can't believe it, you got me a car," Brianna said trying to hold back the tears.

"You're 17 and you have your license so, why not?" Beyoncé smiled at Brianna's happiness.

"I love you so much, I couldn't have asked for a better sister guardian," Brianna said hugging Beyoncé tightly.

Just as Brianna was about to get in her new car, shots went off. Everyone dropped to the ground to avoid being shot except for Beyoncé, Jayceon, and Tommie. They pulled out their guns shooting at the cars the people were shooting from.

Eventually the shooters pulled off and everything went silent, everything happened so fast.

"Is everyone ok?" Jayceon asked as everyone got up.

Everyone seemed to be ok until Jacob yelled, "She's was shot, she's bleeding out!"

Everyone ran over to him and Brianna was laying in his arms gasping for air, trying her best to breathe as blood came out her mouth.

"No this can't be, this can't be happening again," Beyoncé mumbled as tears fell from her eyes.

"The ambulance are on their way," Tommie said wiping the tear that fell from her eye.

"My baby," Beyoncé cried holding Brianna, "Just breathe, everything will be ok."

Brianna grabbed Beyoncé's hand looking in her eyes and shook her head "I can't, I'm scared," she managed to get out.

"Don't say that Bri, you can, don't be scared. Just hang on a little longer."

"You will not die on me, I will not lose you," Beyoncé said hitting Brianna's face repeatedly as she slipped in and out of consciousness.

"I love you," Brianna said faintly before going completely unconscious.
