Chapter 35

"Beyoncé don't you think you're overreacted a little bit," Brianna said.

"Absolutely not," Beyoncé answered as she sipped her lemonade.

"You gave him the ring back."

"And you're keeping the kids from him," Nicki added.

"I think she did the right thing," Tommie interrupted.

"But the kids should be left out of it," Nicki said.

"My kids are being left out of it. Even if we were on good terms I would not let my kids visit their father in a prison. What kind of example am I setting for them?" Beyoncé argued.

Brianna, Nicki, and Tommie decided to take Beyoncé out to eat to keep her company. With Jay being gone they knew it took a toll on her and they didn't want her to feel alone. They wanted her to know she didn't have to go through everything alone.

"No need to get hostile ladies," Brianna said trying to keep the peace.

"Does the bitch look better than you?" Nicki asked.

Beyoncé looked at her like she was crazy, "What kind of question is that?"

"Then there's no need to take extreme measures because there is no competition. You have that mans heart and you know it."

"I agree," Brianna said.

"I know, I'm just angry because he kept it from me, played dumb when I asked, and acted nonchalant when he was caught. I'm not understanding why he acted that way because that wasn't the man I fell in love with," Beyoncé said sadly as she ate her spinach dip.

"Maybe he was just scared, I mean you are crazy," Brianna said.

"Ooh, that is a good reason," Tommie pointed, "If I was Jay I would've texted that shit to you from another continent. Now that I think about it, ole dude is smart, the truth was revealed after he got locked up. You can't kill him in prison," Tommie said which caused everyone to laugh.

"I can't with Y'all," Beyoncé laughed.

They got quiet when the waiter came to refill their drinks then went back to talking.

"Since we're talking about our significant other. Jacob really wants us to move in together so we can be a family," Brianna said.

"I think that's a great idea, so I won't have to worry about you 24/7," Beyoncé said.

"Bey I'm a grown woman now," Brianna smiled.

"I know but you'll forever be my baby," Beyoncé pouted as she hugged Brianna from the side.

"I told him we'll have to find another place together because I don't know how many women he's slept with."

"A lot," Tommie said before sipping her margarita.

"Ignore her, she's been drinking. If you really want to be with him then you should be with him. Just know that moving in together is a lot of responsibility but, I'm sure y'all can handle it. Y'all got a whole kid together," Nicki said.

"I know and I really love him, he's my everything and a great father," Brianna smiled.

"What are you planning to do in the future?" Beyoncé asked.

"I'm gonna get my GED then probably go to college for business. I wanna do something that I love but also make enough to provide for Jade, you know?"

"What about ole girl that had a lot of energy towards my sister?" Tommie asked out of nowhere.

"Would you stop calling everyone ole girl or boy?" Beyoncé asked.

"No."

"Oh, my fucking gosh! That's what I been meaning to tell Y'all!" Brianna yelled dropping her fork.

"What's tea, sis?" Beyoncé asked.

"So I wake up out my sleep to get some water because ya girl be throat be dry, and guess who I see sneaking out at 3 am?"

"Who?" Nicki asked on the edge of her seat.

"Asia Dai'onna Lee!"

Tommie choked on her drink, "No!"

"Are you serious?!" Nicki said.

"That can't be," Beyoncé said shocked.

Brianna threw her hands up, "I can't make this up!"

The people in the restaurant began looking at them being that they were loud.

"I can't make this up," Brianna repeated in a whisper.

"Asia and Sydney? Together? I don't believe it. They were just at each other necks," Nicki said.

"I don't know what they were doing but I doubt they were settling differences," Brianna smirked.

"I can't believe them. They played us like these niggas play 2k," Tommie mumbled.

"Ok." Beyoncé agreed.

"Have you said anything?" Nicki asked.

"I was seeing if they were gonna say something but I might have to speak up," Brianna said.

After they finished eating Nicki insisted she pay the bill.

"Am I dropping y'all off?" Beyoncé asked since they all rode with her.

"No, I might kill David if I go home."

"Same, Jayceon been working my everlasting nerves."

"I can't relate," Brianna said.

"It's something in the atmosphere because everyone beefing with their man with the exception of Brianna," Beyoncé laughed as they got in her car.

The car ride back to Beyoncé's place consisted of them singing along to every song that played on the radio.

When they arrived at Beyoncé's penthouse, Kevin informed Beyoncé that her niece was waiting inside her home. Everyone looked at each other with a confused look because Beyoncé's only niece, Jade was with her father Jacob.

Beyoncé pulled out her knife, and Tommie held her gun tightly in her purse as they rode the elevator to the top floor.

The elevator dinged indicating they've reached their destination. Beyoncé, Brianna, Tommie, and Nicki walked off the elevator slowly. The kitchen lights were on and Beyoncé knew for a fact she turned them off before she left. They carefully headed to the kitchen and there stood a girl rummaging through the refrigerator. The girl dropped the container of leftovers when she noticed them and the gun being pointed at her.

"Who the fuck are you?!" Beyoncé yelled.

"I'll explain just please don't kill me," the girl said nervously.

Beyoncé nudged Tommie and she put the gun away.

"Answer my question, who are you and why are you in my house?" Beyoncé repeated.

"I- I'm Brooklyn."
