"You made a big mistake," Lee's voice rang in my head. I quickened my pace towards the library. I really need to stop being two goody shoes in front of teachers.
If you don't know what I am talking about, let me enlighten you.

It all started when I was heading for my English class when I met Ms Burns who is in charge of the library. She asked me to arrange the Fiction section of the library and deliver some Reference books to the respective teachers. And guess what-

I foolishly accepted the offer.

Ugh! This is going to be so boring! Reading books is one thing and organizing them is a completely different thing. Sue me if I am too lazy.

I pushed the door," Here goes nothing," to myself and found the library deserted. I really loved the books smell, it felt like heaven. Maybe this boring experience will not be so boring.

I still wished Marc was here.

What?

I walked to the main table and picked up a folded list by removing the stapler on it. I read the paper. Holy crap! 30 books each of 300 pages to 30 different teachers. And I have only 30 minutes in hand.

Woah so many 30's

Snap out of it.

But then a beautiful, as well as evil plan, popped in my head. I took out my phone from my pocket and selected the contact and held it against my ear calling-

" Hello," Tony said on the other end.

Soon enough you will be saying hell-oh! Pun intended.

" Hey T! Come to the library, right now!" I said nearly shouting at the last two words.

"I swear I didn't tear the pages from the comic book!"

"I didn't mean that," I said calmly when I realized-" Wait, what?"

I could actually hear Tony gulping," I d-didn't do that!"

"Lair..." I said. Way to drift from the subject, Stephanie," Just come to the library now"

"And why?"

Seriously this person forgot everything? And people say blondes are the stupid ones.

"Looks like someone forgot the small stunt he pulled under the table..."

Tony coughed," Ah! Great! But I am busy"

"Are you in the principal's office?" I said. No matter how much crafty his pranks are, he can still be caught. And I forgot to mention- careless. I wonder if he put a fart horn under Ms. Burns seat.

"What?! NO! I need to ask a girl out." I raised my eyebrows," That is the most pathetic excuse I have heard. If you said something like homework-"

"Stephanie-"

I interrupted- " No actually I would tell Marc to check and then you would be caught-"

" Stephanie I know that but I am serious!"

How many times will he lie to me? Or maybe he is really saying the truth?

And maybe what I said after this was pretty selfish of me but I have to find the truth-

*****

Tony
