Recap

Then I decided to look at the floor and realized that was the biggest mistake I had made.

There was a spider, a freaking spider!

And that is not good news considering the fact that an arachnophobic person is right near them.

Breath, Stephanie. Breath.

You are okay.

No, I'm fuc**** terrified!

And in that situation, I did one more thing that is going to be the next biggest mistake I did. Sheesh! My life is full of mistakes.

I squeaked. Well...

"You heard that?" Tony asked as he nudged Marc with his elbow. Marc nodded his head as both of them turned to look at the collection of boxes where I was having a staring competition with a spider.

I said in a low voice-"Meow?"(which turned out as a question)

"Oh! It's a cat," Tony said raising his eyebrows turning his head towards Marc who was giving him a blank look."Uh...maybe?" He said hesitantly as Marc rolled his eyes and said-"There is something fishy here."

"Probably that is why there is a cat," Tony said.

"You know I still have an injector in my gun, right? you're tempting me to use it," Marc said annoyed. Then both of them removed something from their belt -something round and shiny. that was hen I realized they are going to search the place.

As both of them slowly walked towards the collection of boxes, I saw Tony diverting from Marc and heading towards the left of where I was hiding. And as I mentioned earlier there is no chance of him finding me. Then the spider also started crawling towards me, as if mocking me as I just sat there on my knees like a freaking statue. And guess what-

Marc was heading towards my right. As he started coming close to me- the round disc held in his right hand, he immediately turned his back towards me and looked at the corridor from where I came from. And I am pretty sure he had spotted my school bag where I kept it earlier.

"T, you might want to see this-" he began, turning towards me. And by that time, the spider started crawling on my finger.

This was it, I am not going to hold back. So I stood up from my place, exposing myself with my large hood which managed to cover almost covered my eyes. marc's gaze fell slightly upon me and in the meantime, the spider fell to the ground.

before Marc could even figure out what the hell is going on-

I pushed him with all my strength. Being caught off-guard he fell on the ground.

Without looking back, I started running towards the way I came from.

Warehouse-70, section 14

There is that one moment in a reality TV-show where the character does some really dumb thing and you just literally want to reach in and knock some sense in them?

I wish someone did that for me.

I messed up really really bad. And the worst thing is I dont know what's the worse that could happen. Whatever I did was risky, dangerous and just overall stupid.

I ran with all the strength I could muster. All I need to do is try not to trip down as I overcome friction every second. I made my way towards my school bag. The rain cover proved very useful. I hooked my arm with the strap and within a second, I wore my bag. I scrambled down the path-its disadvantage being that it had no turns. It was a little narrow and without turning back, I ran towards section 13. Adrenaline pumped in and my breaths were loud.
